I am so ready for the next Mortal Kombat!

A telekinetic shouldn't be a zoning character? Is there something about the power to move and hit things from a distance with your mind that I'm missing? What kind of character do you think Kenshi should be?

If you take away his telekinetic shoulder, Kenshi would have been fine. That's what made the character so stupid and overpowered. He would still be really good, but he wouldn't be S+ Tier anymore.
As for Noob, improving his zoning is one way to go about it, but I think they're better off just improving his combo damage/customization and leaving his projectiles alone. The sad thing is that clearly NRS wanted Noob to be THE zoning character, and out of the three viable zoning characters in the game, Noob ain't one of them. I don't have a problem with that, though. The engine naturally favors rushdown characters. Sindel, for example, was a perfectly good zoner, but damage and mix-ups are so powerful in MK9 that playing a pure zoning game is way too high risk and straight-up doesn't pay in some matchups (Smoke, Kabal).
They need to do some fan service to their ORIGINAL FANS in this one. We don't need Freddy or any guest characters. We need excellent bios, better characters designs that are less revealing for females (MK9's were disgusting). We need better narration for the story mode (Get rid of the power ranger/DC vibes, go back to MKDA,D,A &1-3's cheesy kung fu action movie script. it fits much better).
Man, please don't follow Injustice's narration and script.

Hector leaving NRS leads me to think they're doing something with the gameplay that's going to be fundamentally bad for the competitive community. Even before the announcement, I've been thinking that the gameplay engine is probably not going to be as recognizable as we think.
After all, that's pretty much how Boon has always operated. He reinvents wheels despite their shape and functionality, and even though he's warmed up to the FGC in recent years, making the most competitive MK possible has never been his modus operandi.
Before I wanted to see MKX because I was curious. Now I want to see it because I'm worried.

yeah it was such a huge hit to the MKC tourney scene for Hector to leave NRS, but hopefully Paulo will pick up where MK9 started in the gameplay department.< and hopefully Boon allows this of course.

Animalities or Brutalities that's all I want. And I agree with FROID, I really miss that system, it was so aggressive back in UMK3 it would be great if they brought it back. Perhaps even the old run button?
