There isn't. But Rain is also the least liked of all ninjas. He's been in the least amount of games. He's got a storyline that is completely dependent on MKA.

I like Rain. But I don't think we need him in this. I also don't think we need fake Skarlet.

Good video, although personally haven't really ever liked Noob all that much, but we'lls ee what they do with him story wise. His costume is fairly decent.

Not really digging Jade's costume, but pleased she has her more slender pink staff back rather than that ugly thing in MKD/MKA., though it is a shame they turned it into Darth maul's lightsaber.

People piss themselves in fights too if they're hit hard enough, and if they're knocked out, there's even a chance they'll crap their pants, and when people die, as they do in MK as we all know, they do piss and s*** themselves. I think the ninjas are pretty differentiated too. It doesn't bother me at all.

Rain is a good character, my real life friend Quario is easily the #1 fan. He has done quite a few Illustrations of him since MKA and even before. So I hope he makes it for His cause.

But I'm very happy to see Noob has Progressed into such a Beautiful character. Like I'm speechless-ly in love with this design. The hood makes it seem so Sinister!

Having all the main ninjas but 1 just feels wrong imo, i really don`t see whats wronth with NRS adding more characters, regardless of his importance, what was noob saibots role in MK2-3 again? isn`t he completelly dependant on post mk3 games as well?

Things I love:

- That we're finally getting gameplay vids for characters besides the 6 on the website.

- Noob Saibot in general. One of my favorite characters. It was a huge relief knowing he'd be in the game in his proper undead form ever since Sub-Zero was confirmed to be the younger bro and the voice clips leaked, but it's great to finally see him.

- Also great to see the announcer speaking his whole name once again. Armageddon using half of "Noob Smoke" instead of them recording in the word Saibot to add in there was just damned lazy.

- His skin is properly black and his costume is great. It's not overcrowded with detail, but it HAS details, it's the perfect middle ground. The tunic looks a lot like Sub-Zero's but with some Deception details like how it's buckled down the center and the vents on the facemask pretty much look the same. The cowl is a slightly Grim Reaper-ish hood instead of skintight like the other ninjas.

- The opening "we are not brothers" quote. It both speaks to how his old life has no meaning for him anymore and seems like it could be a clever reference to how he's now in the Brotherhood of the Shadow.

- His shadow clone moves look spectacular. I love how they have a liquid property to them, I've always wanted to see his shadow powers portrayed like that, rather than like a gas. Let Smoke be Smoke's thing, Noob melts like oil. The clones seem to have multiple different attacks, and one of them is even his old Sub-Zero slide, which is a MUCH smarter reference to his old self than giving him an ice move would have been since he should no longer have the ice powers. I also love how the clones are used for almost everything, even his winpose and X-Ray, he's ALWAYS double-teaming. It reminds me a lot of how fun Noob-Smoke's gameplay was in MKD except now he can do it by himself instead of turning another seperate character into a poor lackey.

- The cocky cross-arms-and-laugh pose he does when his clone drags them underground and beats them up offscreen is so good. Him reveling in his evil-ness is fun to see, really brings out Noob's character.

- The winpose is badass, I don't care how many insecure teenagers get their senses of false-maturity threatened when they see "Power Rangers-style" arm motions, I wholeheartedly enjoy that sort of stuff. What's the point of being a fan of kung fu if you can't stop and enjoy the choreography and poses? I mean that's what the winposes are FOR.

- The Graveyard looks better than ever before. I always found it boring in MK3 and vsDCU, but I love that Soulnado they added (I wonder what it means plotwise, is that Kahn trying to steal the souls of the already dead, like in Scorpion's UMK3 bio?) and the fact that you can see the city from the Rooftop stage in the back. Goro's Lair also looks a lot better in this video. I was afraid that the giant Goro throne in the middle would change the look of the place way too much, but it's cool to finally get a good look at the sides and see it does still look like the MK1 arena.

- The fact that Jade is always holding that little stick that extends into her staff is a very cool, unique touch to the character.

Things I Don't Love:

- I'd much prefer if his eyes were glowing blue, but the new gray-with-white-pupils ones look alright. Just as long as his eyes aren't identical to Scorpion's and Raiden's, I'm cool with it I suppose.

- I'm meh over the No-Block Ball's return. I always thought that move was kinda broken and I kinda prefer him making shurikens out of darkness in Deception and Armageddon as a projectile. I suppose it's fitting though to bring back one of his classic Trilogy moves, so I'm not really bothered by it. It makes a lot of other people happy, so it's cool.

- Honestly, I can take or leave the puking. Like I said in the other thread, I think hitting someone so hard they throw up isn't bad humor, it's just rightly brutal and violent. But I can definitely see how the gross-out factor of it would bother people.

Things I Hate:

- Honestly, nothing. Noob looks god damned spectacular and I get the very strong feeling he's going to be one of my mains.

First of all, I'm not, in any way, anything that could come close to ever possibly resembling an idiot.

I'm just gonna lay that out there.

This game is based on MK1-UMK3, yes.

And who wasn't in MK1-UMK3? Rain.

And who else wasn't in MK1-UMK3? Fake Skarlet.

And who else wasn't in MK1-UMK3? Quan Chi.

Fuck, let's just put every character in this game. Call it Ultimate Mortal Kombat Armageddon 2: Evolution X (2011).

Lots of characters aren't needed. Nightwolf isn't needed. Sheeva isn't needed. Quan Chi is definitely not needed. It's not about needing Rain, but if you could put him in then why not? That's the way I see it. I'm not falling on my knees screaming to the heavens "RAIN IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CHARACTER EVERS!" but if everyone from UMK3 could make it in, then why exclude him and only him?

And the least liked? I'm sure that goes to Chameleon.

And yet ANOTHER awesome video reveal thread has been turned into bitching about marketing. Why cant you idiots just enjoy what they give you? The game comes out in almost an exact 2 months. We have been waiting 8 months now and you will find out everything then.

Best Noob Saibot fucking ever. Awesome design, great moves, great attitude... Just completely bad ass. The reaper-like hood reminds me of his MK4 costumes, easily the best outfits he's even worn.

I was pretty shocked to see this video when I got here. I'm glad though, I hope and believe that more news is coming. If they really wanna "break the internet" today then this is simply not enough. But so far it's early in the day I think they've got something else up their sleeves. At least I hope so.

Anyway, Noob looks bad ass. Moves look bad ass. His x-ray was unexpectedly bad ass because of the puke. Insane and awesome, I really can't wait for this game!

I completely agree with you about the fact the characters revealed after Jax have had fuck all said about them. But no matter how many I people I piss off with this statement, i'm going to say it any way; You are wrong. There are thousands of MK fans who prefer the ninjas to any of the other characters. Noob Saibot deserves as much info as any of the other fighters. NRS will show the other characters when they want. Not when you want, and not when anyone else wants. NRS obviously decided today was the day when Noob Saibot (or in your words 'Another fucking annoying ninja') was released and apparently they decided on this more than a week ago. Mortal Kombat doesn't revolve around you @queve.
