Yup, it's a terrible shame. This was the worst of the series, and they ended it by killing all the characters, along with the franchise. It sold too little, so now NRS will only make games based on the DC characters. Such a sad fate. sad

Yeah, we remember such characters such as Thor with the hammer and Shinnock.

I miss those characters.

However, Injustice: Gods Among Us is not like Mortal Kombat vs DC because it's playing totally different from Mortal Kombat. And Motaro was seen in this game, so there's your appearance for him.

No there will be no sequel because Ed Boon sold the rights of NRS to Capcom in a quick cash scheme made by none other than Quan Chi himself behind the scenes so no more MK

Injustice is a video game based on comics; like MK, death means nothing in the comic world. Motaro will return, better and stronger than ever, as one of Darkseid's Horsemen of Apokolips.

I have it on very good authority that MK 2011 was only ever released as a test for the intricate combat system to be featured in their soon-to-be-announced War Gods sequel. MK10 ain't happening.
