posted11/16/2010 03:26 AM (UTC)byHad anyone seen a video of this move in action in this game? It does exist, but I haven't seen it performed against a character.

We've seen Cage vagina bust Kitana, and it wasn't an X-Ray. So it's either in the game as a special move, or is part of one of his throws.

The actual move has been seen but I can't remember where.
He doesn't do it like the old school games, he does it just like his X-Ray although I can't tell you if he multi-punches like his X-Ray because the opponent wasn't near him when he performed it.

That's his throw.
But he does have the Ball Breaker as a special move.

And of course, he doesn't do it on the opponent. Which is what I want to see.

I forgot where, but I saw him to it to Scorpion in an EGS video.
Yeah, he has it back (which is fabulous).
However, I am a little disappointed by the way it looks. You can't fully appreciate the power of his splits because of the way he does it now.
During in MK1, MK2, and MK4, the way you could see him split right in front of you was superb. Also, the way he finally punches the nuts doesn't seem as cool as in the classics.
Oh well, still looks awesome.

It looks more like what jean claude van damme did in Bloodsport, which is actually very fitting for johnny cage when you think about it
Yes it most definitely in and it looks fabulous to me!!! Now saying it looks as good as his MK 1 & 2 version would be stretching it however it completely looks better than the MK 4 version! I would have to play the game in order to see how it feels and how much damage it takes up! Have a look see:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHVmGsEOt4A Skip to 1:31-136!

Actualy it looks like he tried to do his x-ray attack but missed. Because if you look at his meter, it's full. So he could have just missed his x-ray.

You're looking at the wrong meter. That's Kitana's, you can see her face near the health bar. She did her Kombo Breaker, that's why it went down.

Not sure if it's a special move or maybe it's just part of one of his Target Combos.
@WeaponTheory Your welcome buddy,no prob!!!!!

It is a special move. Read my post with the youtube link and you will see it done, no combo added, no opponent near him.

Also if you keep watching he connects with it again @ 2:58-3:02 of the same video.
Yeah it's just a special move exactly like it has been in past games.
Here's more video just for fun!

And the same video as above but I have it skipped to right before the Low Blow special move used against Scorpion.
