Sorry, she's blatantly acting childish AND sexy. they're not mutually exclusive. She's acting exactly like any number of fictional "child like" characters that happen to be evil, where their kooky child like qualities juxtapose with their sexuality and viciousness. It's a common trope


suffice it to say, i know plenty about being flirty. Mileena's a slut, and one who happens to be embracing her child-like side in this go around. She's not acting like a cat or something. She's acting like a perverted child

I wonder what Mileena's memory is like. Does she have the same memories as Kitana and the Tarkatan she was made from?

This certainly pisses me off. And the detail that bothers me the MOST is:

The stupid eyes.
Those STUPID lame ugly yellow eyes.

Before anyone jumps at my throat let me clarify that I am NOT asking for the pallet-swap days or some lame copy/paste thing.

I am also aware Mileena's goal/mission is "not supposed" to be the one of "looking like Kitana in order to be Kitana and get the benefits".

However:

1) She was introduced as her TWIN sister.
2) She was introduced as a clone.
3) She was introduced as Kitana's blood..

Both bitches have never looked more different in their whole MK lives.

I admit that I'm very happy that Mileena is not sporting Kitana's massive hair and that they are both not sharing an exact same outfit, however, the big differences that do matter are:

1) Those STUPID yellow eyes of Mileena.
2) The ridiculous difference in their skin color.
3) Kitana's hair style.

They just don't look like twin sisters at all. Hell, they don't even look like sisters.

Mileena and Jade look more like sisters for Raiden's sake!

I don't care for the reasoning behind Mileena's eyes. I don't care or agree that they "make her look more unique, distinctive, etc" or that "it shows off how much the game shave evolved that she can have these kind of distinctive features".

I really don't agree. The yellow eyes take sooo much from her instead of being a positive little detail.

She looked much better with eyes that made her seem normal. She looked more interesting and more unique as a monster who looked human before revealing what was hiding behind the veil.

Now, there's really no magic in her character because of the stupid eyes. Did they really need to be that yellow?

The monstrous voice is also very unnecessary. Why make her a cliche when she could be so much more?

I guess I'm upset about it because the whole Mileena/Kitana rivalry/story is one of the most classic and deepest in MK (and one of my favorite things). I'm upset it looks like its not as great anymore.

Sorry but I just dont see her as child like she is more lascivious, and i never said she was acting like a cat, also i have seen other characters who have the child like chararacteristics and they are nothing like mileena for example when they hit you they say "oh sorry" and stuff like that. Mileena is not child like.

Mileena is very juvenile in this game though. I mean there's no denying it. She's like Tira/Harley Quinn is the way she acts and they both act like over grown children some times.

That certainly explains why she tries to give Scorpion a teddy bear.

Quevey, I don't know if you've read the spoilers on her or not so i'll tag them, but there's a reason for all those problems you mentioned :(

Those two are the exact same that keep coming up in my mind when I see the new Mileena.
Overall I like the new attitude.

I LOVE Mileena and I'm happy with what they've done with her. I will admit, though, that, at first, I was upset at the "child-like" description on the official website bio but then I realized they didn't mean it as in she's mentally challenged. Oh no, they meant it as in she's delightfully demented.

Now I haven't read up on the story-mode portion of the game so don't go tearing my theory a new asshole.
Ok so, I think Mileena is more of Kitana's half-sister this time. Yeah, she's technically a clone (or daughter) because of the DNA/essence bull but, since she's mixed it with Tarkatan DNA, so she is actually a mutated creation. However, it still needs to fit in with the klassic MK universe and so the only way that would work would be to have them remain "sisters".

Im bothered by this as well.
I always loved the whole evil twin thing these two had going on but i personally think that MILEENAs deteriorating sanity may have something to do with her changes. The more disconnected she becomes from her edenian "humanity", the less she looks like KITANA.
I like them better as (nearly) identical twins but this FORCES Mileena to establish her own identity and to stop trying to take Kitanas...

I will never get over the fact they are making of Mileena an "half-sister" of Kitana now instead of twin sister.

I respect and support the original timeline and I will never accept this as a logic possibility...

Mileena was created thousands of years before MK1 so when Raiden starts making changes in MK1 she was supposed to be there in the background already.

Those stupid yellow eyes and face should be an exact copy of Kitana's. She can change her hairstyle or clothes style but her face and eyes should be exactly the same and still she would be a different and unique character... Hate Ed for ruining the character this way... But gotta love him for other things...

I will now travel in time and prevent John Tobias from leaving the team to avoid this mess...
