I like how you're not complaining like alot of these people are. anyways, i think that the background could be a new arena as well, considering the fact the the background of subby's render was an arena thats already been shown. so yeah, that scorpion background looks pretty sweet.

I'm actually a lot more interested in the SMALL render of Scorpion holding his two swords. I want to download that in super huge high quality!

I absolutely love the quality and level of detail in that small picture. If all the new renders are supposed to look like that, wow, it is definitely a huge huge improvement over the MKvsDC renders (which were pretty awesome in quality anyways). I'm very excited to see the rest.

As for the big render and the hell arena, it is definitely fantastic! It's a shame this was leaked such a long time ago (along side the Sub-Zero renders) because it's not as exciting to talk about anymore.

Still, I think the MK Team deserves recognition and praise for the wonderful art.

I feel like it's been a while since last time we got amazing game renders like this one. I really want to see more Fatality renders ASAP for all characters, not just the 2 ninjas.

Now, I am hoping beyond hope that they feature Johnny Cage, Mileena, Sonya, Cyrax, Sektor, etc. with the same kind of renders and promotional material, because if they keep shoving Scorpion and Sub-Zero down our throats I'm going to throw up. It gets extremely boring.

PS: Again, its nothing against the ninjas, their renders and pics are fantastic. It's just boring that we've only seen them in this kind of stuff when there are a lot more characters that were already revealed.

People complain because they have set their hopes and expectations up for something amazing, so it's their own fault that they get disappointed. I'm only disappointed that they are having problems with getting the site right, but it will be corrected soon enough.

That said, Scorpion looks great in his render. I'm still not a fan of his outfit though - he looks like he's encased in plastic. I'd rather see him in latex than this. But oh well, he's not the character I am going to play the most, so I can live with it.

Out of all the Hell stages, Scorpion's Lair in MKT was the coolest of them all. I loved the tall pillars full of skulls and skeletons. I would indeed want to see an updated version of it in the upcoming Mortal Kombat.

On a similar note i dont see why peopel are hating on scorps new look, He came out of hell, he should have some detailed skull stuff all over him. I think his alt will prolly be a more baggy traditional hooded ninja so everyone will prolly be happy. It remindes me kinda of spawn or ghost rider and it should considering its the same idea. a badass anti hero who sells their sole in order to get some sort of badass job done.
