The wallpaper is really nice, especially the arena (The Pit) art. Love the style.

Mileena's pose is cool, her hair is awesome. On the other hand, don't like her eyes and her tits are ridiculous. The black and gold parts on her costume are cool though.

I think we'll get fatality wallpapers like this only for those characters featured on the official site, but I definitely hope we'll get regular (not fatality) wallpapers for all of the characters. Still waiting for a high-resolution wallpaper featuring Kitana in that fantastic pose she had in that black/white magazine scan.

Yeah my complaint was about Mileena's eyes, not her clothes or hair. I have no problem with Kitana and Mileena looking different in terms of costume and hair style, but their facial features and bodies should remain very very similar, almost the same, except for their mouths of course.

Let's be honest, has Shang Tsung done anything right on his own? He's one of the biggest fuck ups in MK, so trust him to screw up a cloning process of Kitana.

Everyone is just reading into every tiny facet of these pictures. Look at the whole noob saibot discussion about the blank ninja on the widget. I love speculating just as much as the next person. But people saying its blatantly obvious this is liu are going over the top. Its long hair....nothing more, no headband...no baggy pants...nothing else giving us an indication that its liu. Well back when the NRS released the trailer where it was just the shadows fighting, a few people said it was Jax that was falling into the Pit, and everyone was saying the same thing your saying now about how he hasn't been hinted or shown in anyway. Then someone took screenshots of it and you could clearly see the cables from his arms to his neck.......and next things you know Jax was released not long after that.

So even though we've only seen a shadow and the back of a victims head who looks somewhat like liu dosent mean that it's impossible for it to be him.

Unless male anatomy changed and Liu Kang grew a set of breasts, I don't see how that shadow could be a guy.

That's the bicep of his left arm. And I'm not sure what curves you're referring to. The body being jurked downwards because Mileena pulls the head off?

This, but for the reason of practicality over the over-sexualization. There's no way a women could have breasts that large and be able to fight effectively. It's the same rant I use for Ivy of SC. This is from a woman's point-of-view.

As for the revealing costume, it works for Mileena due to her personality. But I'm a believer that for every scantily-clad female in a fighting game, there should be one in a near fully-clothed outfit. (which should have been Sonya in this case, but...well....wasn't)

Please people gwow up and move on from the boob crap. It is a Fantasy video game made by guys with a mostly male fanbase. Nothing about it is supposed to be realistic.. If you don't like her boob size then just don't pick her. It feels like if it were up to some of you she would be wearing attire that would resemble the robes a shadow priest wears. In every game he has been in Shao Kahn basicly runs around in his underwear all the time(Yeah I know about his alt in mkd-a but i am talking main outfits) and no one complained. It could be worse she could not be in the game at all. Then you guys would really be pissed. snakeeyes on youtube was right. Grow up people.

I wouldn't be upset if it was like that but i would prefer it to be universal honestly.




We're dealing with women that are 10s of thousands years old. One even has saw blades for teeth. I'm sure they will have no problems throwing 300lb [or whatever Jax weighs now with those Bionic arms permanently attached.] across a subway platform.

I'm really enjoying this wallpaper. My favorite yet, by far.

Wow, looking back at the "renders" and wallpapers for MKvsDC, this is lightyears ahead in terms of composition, quality, and impact.

I'm rather liking "Mileena Month" so far. She's looking wonderfully sexy yet demented. The outfit even looks great on her.

Concerning her eyes... I'm still wondering why so many people are upset at this. I assumed Mileena could change her eye color, either due to her supernatural origins or through other means. I mean, this isn't even the first time she's had eyes different from Kitana's.


I imagine she can change them, and as others have stated, she hates Kitana at this point and isn't trying to "be" her, but rather be different from her. She has the same body, but she's trying to stand out rather than live in her sister's shadow. I like and prefer that.

She was undead in MK Gold.

Her eyes should've stayed that way instead of being normal in Deception, too. It's not like Scorpion can grow HIS pupils back.

She IS considered his "daughter". Maybe she got a few of her daddy's traits when she was created.

Shao Kahn is Half Tarkatan too.

Unless im retarded. Im pretty sure thats a known fact. Hes even got tarkatan like spikes copming out of his face.

Shao Kahn's not Tarkatan at all. In the very, very early stages of MK2, there was unused concept art and ideas about having everyone from Outworld, Kahn included, be the same race as Baraka, but that was completely scrapped.
Officially, his race is ex-god, and it's been hinted that he's the one who created the goddamned Tarkatans in the first place.

About the eyes issue.. her eyes look a little more human in this render compared to her screenshots and videos, as you can see on the image below.



See the difference? Her eyes look more reptilian in the left picture.

I have mixed feeling about her eyes.

On one hand I do agree, that the monster eyes give away the fact that she's not human and not Kitana.

But on the other hand don't forget she looks cool and the most important thing is not the story, but the gameplay of the game and how appealing it looks.

I hate to be THAT guy, but her tits seem bigger here than on the actual character model. Hell they're bigger than her site render. Am I missing something? Kontinuity people COME ON!! (half joke half serious)
