Why do people jump to the conclusion an thinks its liu kang? Me personally i thinks its jade or nightwolf in my preference

u know what the point of the ranking was right? mileena was first almost since the whole thing started and all we got was sub zero and scorpion stuff over and over! so it was looong overdue we got sth about sb else...let alone mileena that won the first round! shao kahn and raiden got 4th and 5th place so dont expect much from them...
and about the guy getting stabbed, i think its silly to assume its liu kang. the other wallpapers had a random bald guy, i dont think they would put an actual character on mileena's wallpaper all of a sudden. the wallpaper is about her not liu.

I have nothing against Mileena winning and yes, I know the point of the ranking system. But that is not what I have a problem with. What bothers me is that the first round took more than two months to finish. Now that it is finished, I expected them to at least release two of Mileena's wallpapers and two of her videos in a week at the most. Instead, they are going to do this over a period of one month for one character.

This leads me to believe that the official MK site is dedicated to those five characters along with the uncovered silhouette, only. Cause if they are going to spend a whole month per character they will have time only for Kahn, Raiden and the silhouette till the game releases (that is if each round ends within a month).

As soon as the site launched, I thought they would add other characters to the site with time but now I am starting to believe this will never happen.

This is gonna burn up into some huge speculation so let me fan the flames.

i know it sounds crazy, with this being a retelling of mk1-3, but all nrs are showing us are silhouttes of him (mk website). ANY chance at all of him being a zombie or something else, maybe just a radical appearance change? why else would they leave such an obvious and predictable reveal till last?

It does looks like liu, However the shadows wallpapers victems are not posed to be chars. from the game as someone on has pointed out.

I sure hope I misread and misunderstood this, because, that sounds like a ton of bullshit.

I am NOT the only one, in fact, I am one of the majority who are truly disappointed and pissed off at the lazy and bad marketing/promotion of this game. It just plain sucks and it's ridiculous how bad and inconsistent they've been since the very beginning of that "countdown".

Anyway, I'm a huge Mileena fan so it's great to finally see some updates featuring her and not the stupid boring ninjas.

It sucks, though, that the whole "kombat chat" thing was obviously a joke/lie and that it was planned for Mileena to get these updates after the ninjas. They said before that every week they would take into consideration the winner, but, that didn't happen for obvious reasons no matter what the "excuses" are.

So, I guess we can only expect no more "new" characters on the website (besides the ??? one) and a miracle to see similar content featuring: Kitana, Raiden, Sonya, Jax, Kahn, Johnny Cage, Cyrax, Sektor, Sindel, Nightwolf, Reptile, etc etc etc.

I could care less about Mileena, but I am interested in that shadow character. Looks like it's nobody we've seen yet. The hair looks like it could belong to Liu Kang and the body is a lot more slim than the other males in the game, but he is missing the headband that we saw in the ??? and his usual wrist guards. It's possible that the headband falls off and they didn't give him/ we can't see the wrist guards.

Also, nobody said this had to be a character, but it just seems odd that they'd put detail into this dummie when Scorpion and Sub-Zero's dummie was just a plain bald thing.

So it's either

A: Liu Kang

B: Nobody.

If it is Liu Kang, I like the looks so far.
