Wonder how much they spent on keeping big name reviewers quite about the Online?

Most successful game of the year ( So far ), With the worst Online in any fighter to date. Bastards should be ashamed of themselves.

No need NRS to correct, Address the issue or even acknowledge it. You'll sell more games if you just spend the revenue on advertisements.

If Trapcom was even stupid enough ( They're not ) to ACCIDENTLY, Lol... Release a game that did not work correctly Online for 80% of the millions of people playing. This would be vocally addressed and corrected almost instantaneously. Trapcom cares about they're players, NRS cares about there sales.

Bottomline. Congrats NRS, And oh yeah... FUCK YOU!

Crapcom fanboy is fanboyish ... :/

It might not be a 100% remake of the old, but I don't think it's fair to say it's not a fan service game.

I mean obviously we wanted things like Cyber Smoke, the Kombat Tomb, sub-boss Motaro and some other things, but the game is not garbage, it's the most balanced of the series with great gameplay, challenge tower, story mode, test your luck, 4 DLC characters, a ton of stages, Test your might/sight, tag team, tons easter eggs etc.

It is quite ridiculous to say this game is not fan-service.

Sure, I'm absolutely pissed off at the complete absence of Sonya's Kiss of Death, her glorious MKvsDC Bicycle kicks, Mileena's/Kitana's retcon, Cyborg Subby among many other things, but, fan service pretty much helps to make the soul and the heart of this game.

OMG that reminds me, Sonya needs to have that kiss of death fatal and her classic skin as DLC, I would buy both of them in a heartbeat if they came in a classic skin pack, MK4 or MK3 will do.

I'm so happy Sonya's bicycle kicks were at least included in her X-ray, sadly I save meter specifically to see the X-ray, I don't even care how much damage it does, so sad lol.

That Kitana and Mileena retcon, is bothering me the more I think about it, Mileena was such a relatable viillian in the old timeline, she just wanted to be loved and altough Kitana didn't actually do her wrong, her jealousy and hatred of Kitana was compelling and made for great character depth.

I can't get into Cyber Sub-Zero either and I tried to keep an open mind with him, but I just don't like him or his story, which is essentially a rehash of what Cyrax did, such a shame.

Now I feel like I'm complaining too much lol, anyways GO NRS, congrats and in a few years we'll be eagerly anticipating MK10, yay

I doubt it. While the gameplay was certainly the largest feature that appealed, the fact is that this game is a retread back to the iconic trilogy of MK games. It purposely used the nostalgia factor to get people on board.

Agreed.

It was really one of my biggest Sonya-dissapointments ever....

Don't forget they also reference her glorious kicks in her Babality. I have a feeling they replaced those in favor of the Arc Kick. As glorious as the Arc Kick is, its simply no where near as fantastic as her MKvsDC kicks.

Shame on them.

They do have her downward bicycle kicks as an "enhanced" move of her dive kick, but, they don't look or feel as awesome as they did before.

Shame.

They better be back for the next game.

PS: Kiss of death is a MUST DLC!
