FLAWLESS VICTORY
Not to be negative, as this is good news, hopefully this means it is worth their while to release a "fix" patch. MK9 is great, but there are definitely some bugs, glitches, and overall lack of time issues that a patch could easily fix, or at least improve. And hopefully this means they will invest in quality dlc.

I was just going to post that. Just under 900,000 copies sold from April 19-April 30th.

Doesn't this make it the best selling fighter in the US for the first month of release?

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is still up there with 2.7 million in it's first month.
I would have thought Portal 2 to take number one considering that was also released on PC as well as PS3 and Xbox360. Just shows what a great achievement it was. Well done to everyone and let us hope it continues. It was a step in the right direction and a top notch game.

So Mk made about 1 million in just over 2 weeks, how well has the other games fared?

^^ And to make this MORE incredible...
According to the NYTimes article below, MKII made $50,000,000 in the first week.
900,000 units multiplied by $60 = $54 million for 11 days. While not as good as MKII, it's still good given the fighter genre has had a weak base for years.
So technically speaking, this figure is better than MKII because it generated a lot of money despite the aforementioned variable affecting its overall success.

Is it possible to like the facebook fan page without having it show up on your profile? I just don't want my friends following that to here and then reading all of my internet posts and judging me, haha.

^^ yes, you can hide them from showing on your wall.

Now let's see an apology video from IGN for only giving this game an 8/10

In that case you need to manually adjust your privacy settings. I'd recommend creating a list named Hide_from_MK and put all the friends you want hidden on that list and design the list to hide your activities and interests. Play around with what Facebook offers you - it's probably different for your country than it is in mine.
