There actually have been photos and videos of people beating Challenge Tower and showing the prize. This forum has many threads, I don't expect you to go through them all obviously but it has been posted before.

ed boon said that if you beat the challenge tower you get the best prize in MK history and an alt costume would not be the best prize by a long shot. i highly doubt that this is the only prize you get. it has been said that you get this alt costume if you skip some of the missions. if you beat the whole thing you get something else. my guess is that you get kintaro goro and shao kahn as playable characters but we will just have to wait and see if someone beats the entire challenge tower

A) I'm fairly positive Ed Boon NEVER said that... and that if he did say half the things that people said he said, we'd have twice as much content in this game...

Seems he (or sometimes not even him, but another member of his team) usually says some vaguley related and non-specific thing on any number of matters pertaining to the game... and then somehow... through the wonders of the internet... that vaguely related comment is misquoted an misconstrued as fact repeatedly... post after post... until it becomes "ED BOON SAID IT! HE'S A LIAR."

I think all Boon ever said of the challenge tower reward was it was something that can be shown off online...

B) As to the rest of you post. No. This is the only reward. Anyone with any sense knew this a month or two ago when the demo got hacked, but still many others were in denial. Now the game is out and it's STILL the only reward... we have proven VIDEO EVIDENCE that it's the only reward. It has been confirmed and reconfirmed several times through multiple sources. And people are STILL denying belief that it's the only reward. I can't BELIEVE how dense some folks are.

No, Boon actually said it was like the "ultimate" prize in an interview with G4TV (I think that was it...or Gamespot...). He emphasized how great the reward was and then said something like "if you see someone playing with online, you know they beat challenge tower". Other developers said it was an amazing prize as well.

Quite honestly, it's one of the worst costumes I've ever seen. I actually think her primary is sexier (especially since it seems there is NO battle damage whatsoever to this alt). The fact that she's unmasked takes all the "sexiness" away. Also, she looks a little too muscular...I guess if you like the butch, body-building lesbian look, the costume is right up your alley though...

How hard is Challenge 300? I heard if you fail a lot, it gets progressively easier? Is this true?

I really reckon it's not just the Flesh Pits costume. Maybe we will have something on top of that after the huge patch and after finishing every one of the challenges.

Regardless what we get for completing the Tower, I'm still gonna play though it because I'll undoubtedly need the coins for the Krypt, the end reward doesn't really mean much to me, they could've given us anything for a reward and I wouldn't care what it was.
