why do they darken the arena during a fatality in such a silly way?

im pretty sure this video was recorded pre PAX, so thats why nothing new was revealed

its so the focus is on the fatality and not the environmental elements nothing to distract from the fatality scene

That's what it sounded like to me too. I think people are looking over the fact that Netherrealm is going to have an official forum for the game. This roughly translates to having a more direct line of communication to the Devs.

As seen in the background of the Throne Room, I'm really happy to see Shang back to his "old" self. That's always been my favorite design for him. I only hope we can fight him in his old man form near the end of the game

most likely the old shang tsung fight would be in the beginning of the game during the first tournament since this is a kinda retelling of the first 3 games
