Agreed. Mileena got a lot of 'Ooohs and Aaahh's for her moves and Fatality and Reptile, Johnny Cage and Sektor got the same with their X-Ray's.

All in all I am LOVING what I'm seeing already and they have a lot of time to really polish and fine-tune a fantastic looking game!!

Dying to see Kitana, Sindel and Sheeva and Sonya in action. Oh the beautiful potential they all have in terms of aesthetics and fighting!

I really think they'll do something about that and not just have it look like it does for everyone else. They've paid so much attention to details this time that it would be crazy to have glitchy visuals to that extent. Maybe Reppy "rips" Sektor a mouth, digging his nails in and spreading the metal? Maybe they add an extra animation for masked characters where he pulls it off?

I had ridiculously high hopes for this game; Watching this video completely exceeded them, this looks ridiculously good.

They would never of even started this project if they didn't think that themselves already. That or they don't get paid haha. But yes it's gonna be epic and the best mk to date. Obviously.

Yeah, but this isn't an exact retelling of MK1-3. It's an altered version after Raiden sends himself a message, so expect changes and a new continuation of the story. I mean, I know you know this. But I can't figure what else you could mean be 'be loyal to the canon!' I guess just by like, don't make it a fucked up mess like Armageddon?

I noticed that during Mileena's Fatality, she did a motion where she removed her mask but it was already broken off. Hope they fix details like this.

Chances are the damage will get Tweaked. If not, Maybe add in a guessing game option like Klose Kombat in MKvsDCU. that way the other person don't have to get abused by it.

These are basically ultra combos, why on earth wouldnt they do a lot of damage? I wouldn't suggest anything untill we've seen more of the finished product and know more about the meter management. NO Klose Kombat, No more mid fight minigames. I understand we have been burned by this franchise over the last decade with one broken mess after another, but I think some of you are being too pro-active about brokeness way too early. Give it a month or two and when we learn more about the game then by all means harass the hell of these guys to fix potentially broken shit.

It was, but even ultra combos don't do away nearly all of your health and that easily. The first thing that comes to mind is the "Rage" feature in Tekken 6, and just like rage, if the meter builds up as the round goes along, it looks as if it will be too easy to make a comeback and win the match when the health bars were originally at 40% vs 5%.

I know now is not the time to be complaining about this, since the game itself will mostly likely look extremely different from the first trailer, but personally, I'm not a big fan of the X-Ray feature at all. It's just a slightly shiny new feature that will most likely get old quickly because it looks the same for every character just in a different area of the body. All it's gonna do is slow down the match.

I loved how Sektor comboed into his x-ray. Truly amazing. Wish I can fast forward 9 months from now :(
