There is nothing wrong with "most basic" as a phrasal construct in BBC English. Neither in American vernacular, but it is uncharacteristically rare.
Otherwise, I agree to your post.

Actually, I wasn't complaining about the wording of the phrase "most basic", I was saying that between being bad at English AND being wrong about it being basic when it's not, he completely had no right to act like a smartass.
Those last two sentences should've been at the beginning of the next paragraph instead. That would've prevented the confusion. At least my grammar still isn't as bad as his.

Time travelling hijinks go askew.
Not exactly blazing a trail, chief.
Much like the renewed course of this thread, eh?

I never said it was an original idea. I said I was the first one to guess it and nobody believed me so now I'm rightfully entitled to a "nyah nyah I win" dance like a 10 year old. Interrupt at your own peril.
If Shinomune didn't want me to spend two whole pages calling him a troll, he shouldn't have trolled, eh? I thought I might shame him into behaving himself. Probably won't do a damn bit of good but, meh, too late now. Either way, don't start nothin', won't be nothin'. It's pretty simple logic.

It seemed like a fair few people were assuming it. I know I've talked about it with people for the past few weeks. It was pretty obvious, Nosty... There's no gold medal for not being incredibly ignorant, as strange as that may seem. Might be one for a healthy sense of perspective at this rate, though.
Hasn't a good majority of the discussion ever since time-travel messages were mentioned been about the possible negative repercussions? It's practically MK's schtick! It's rote! How could you possibly be stupid enough to not notice all the conversation, let alone the sheer utter unremarkable fact of monkey paw time travelling?! Good grief!...
On the subject of unremarkable observations (and the subject of the thread); can anyone who's seen the EGMi stuff elaborate on this point at all?
What was the context for admitting they were derivative?
Was there any acknowledgment given to the fact that they weren't derivative enough to be as good as the original, or is he admitting that their claims of 'rebuilding the engine' were more than a little exaggerated?
Seems like a strange thing to 'admit.'

No, you spend two whole pages acting like a 10 years old. Sheldon Cooper is funny, you not.
I start remembering because I wasn't discuss in this forum ... and it wasn't only the language. For now, I put you in [Ignore Mode], you don't deserve a better treatment...

Please Boon, make Outworld win the tournament and Earthrealm be conquered by Shao Kahn. That would make me a happy man.

It takes two to argue. The very fact that your even posting during this puts you in a state of hypocrisy. If "digs" are going to be put out, expect a backlash, I dont blame RazorsEde for one second. He is not in the wrong here I dont believe.
Im not necessarily jumping on your back, but a simple observations hows that this could be dropped with little effort. So lets go that route please.

Or like those Choose Your Own Adventure Goosebumps books!
Also, MK vs SF? Arika should develop it

On MKO, yes there is.

Again, not on MKO. The only one suggesting negative repercussions was me and people responding to my posts. Everyone else was going "I think Raiden is going to kill Shang and save everybody who bad things happen to."
