I doubt it the only reason they were there the last time was because they
had comic book characters in the game.I could be wrong though.

Well, Warner Bros. is scheduled to be there but that doesn't mean anything for MK obviously. If nothing is announced soon, I doubt we'll see anything.

Yeah I will bet anything MK has nothing to do with Comic-Con this year.

Hmm, so when can we expect new reveals if that's the case?

I would imagine with the MKasts starting soon, and only roughly 8-9 months before release, we will be getting stuff maybe once a month. So within a couple weeks we should be seeing something new, wouldn't you think?

I think if we see something new maybe once every other week for the time being would be nice. If it were every week at this point, it might be a bit of oversaturation. However, I think by fall (September at the earliest), we should start seeing more frequent updates.

The biggest updates for the time being, of course, will be which characters will be officially announced next as well as what classic arenas are coming back.

I dont want them to reveal anything else. It takes alot of the fun out of the game. The e3 videos are enough.

Hopefully NEVER! I would love for this game to have some real surprises and not have everything spoiled ahead of time

There's 8 months left until the release. They have to show something else eventually or there will be no hype for the game. You build hype by releasing things in a timely manner, you plan it all out. I too hope there are certain things not revealed to go along with their original secrets pitch, but to have two thirds of the roster a "mystery" when we all know what characters will be in there mostly? Come on guys, try to be realistic.

But thats just it, We dont know who will mostly be there. I think that out of the 28 they should release only half of the roster. Im not saying they shouldnt release anything but they need to keep over 50% of it a secret

But yeah, we do know. You're kidding yourself if you don't. This game is based on three games, and most of those characters from those three games will be the ones on the roster. Ed himself said the roster won't be too surprising when it is announced, but that there were a couple of surprises in there. A small number of surprises doesn't equate to even half of this roster. That's saying there are 13 characters that are going to be "surprises". Come on, seriously.

I hate surprises! Anyway I think they may release some info by ComicCon, cuz I know some people who got into MK when MKvsDC came out! It might be good advertising for Warner Bros.

Im guessing that out of the 28 I can probably name about 20 of them that are defiinates. Again im not saying dont release everything but I hope they dont release the entire roster before the game is released. Also I hope a large majority of the roster is locked when you first get the game. I personally like having to work to unlock the entire roster

Business wise, it will most likely go like this....

They will release the majority of the characters. say that there is 28 playable, we will probably know of 25 if not more.

Lets face it, MK is big, but its no longer on the tp of the mountain like Halo, Call of Duty, or Madden. Therefore they need to reveal as much as they can to make it appeal to as many people as possible to reach all of the potential customers that they do.

If anyone thinks we are waiting on the team to make an MKast to decide what new info to tell us, you are most likely wrong. Most fo this stuff is already planned out if not all, they have it all down to a somewhat science to let us know what they want us to know at a certain point(Hence why they dont acknowlegde several questions we ask them fully)

The team is known for tricks and being secretive, so some things they ahve already said may be true, may not.

I'm sure we will be bombarded with news towards Sept-Nov seasons, to start filling pre-orders for the game, until then we probably wont see a big dose of new info like we did at E3, jsut a little bit here and there to keep us holding on.
