Sindel has been one of my top favorite revealed characters despite her poor reveal and unforgiving lack of footage featuring her.
The first official pics of her were impressive, her flying render was very impressive, her VS render is extremely impressive, and her intro is so impressive I think its probably my favorite one along side Johnny's.
Sooo much attitude and personality. So stylish and graceful. And that new voice gives her so many positive points, imo. I love the way she gracefully decends, stylishly moves, and that huge attitude as soon as she utters her words:
"You are pathetic and weak!"
Perfection.
Sindel looks great and I love what they've done to her design and voice.
Another thing I'd like to note is that her hair animation (along with Jade's) looks fine. Both are definitely not perfect, but, I don't see their hair reacting extremely unnaturally making it look ugly.
I like the way they designed it on Sindel and I specially love how huge it looks in her Icon Select Screen picture and VS renders. So. Much. Hair!
I'm very upset she didn't really do much in this video though. They did show off some of her moves, but, we so almost nothing of her gameplay.
So, despite all the good things I'm loving about Sindel, there are indeed a few disappointments:
The GOOD:
* Badass intro. Probably one of the best of the whole game.
* Great design.
* Fun gameplay (from the little we saw).
* Cool looking hair.
* New specials (some kind of cartwheel kicks and a flying Street Fighter punch)
THE BAD:
* That scream is kind of disappointing. I don't like the new animation (why is she first glowing with the hands?) and I think the scream sound itself (though nice) should be more powerful and impressive. Its really weak. MK3 had it best.
* Her fireballs remind me of Raiden's thunder balls (which he shouldn't have). I liked how Sindel's fireballs looked in MK3 much better. They look rather weak in MKD and same here (though maybe a bit better).
* Why does she NOT have crazy long witch like fingernails? Makes. No. Sense.
Regarding Jade:
Definitely the best out of the 3 female ninjas.
I went
when I saw her X-Ray. It was very impressive and completely unexpected, imo.
At first I was like WTF! and then I smiled. Its definitely something I wouldn't have thought for her, but, it is soooooo well executed (look at her face as the stick is presented in the screen) that I have to say its definitely one of the best X-Rays out there.
I am very impressed by her X-Ray and her fast gameplay. She looks fun.
And as much as I like seeing her classic special moves, I have to admit I'm not really that impressed by the execution of them.
Best thing about her gameplay/moves is the use of her staff. I think it looks great and I hope she performs some crazy combos (like in MKT/U) with them.
Her special moves are fine, but, I didn't see anything new. The green glow looks awesome though. I just don't know why I'm not that impressed with her specials (
)...maybe its because I've never really been a big fan of them:
Dodging projectile, Nitro Kick, Razor boomerang, what else did we see? I'm trying to remember if I missed any.
Anyway, Jade definitely looks fun and awesome, and if her biggest fans are happy about her specials I think thats cool. I hope she actually has a couple of new tricks to show us. I wan't to see something new that becomes an "instant classic" for her. A sure trademark. Jade needs better specials, imo.
Other than that, she is flawless in my eyes.
Kitana and Mileena both look great, easy to use, and like they are going to be sooooo much fun.
I'm really impressed and happy with Kitana's gameplay and that awesome wavy effect she has when performing her fan attacks. Aside from 2 major issues, she looks fun to play with.
I don't think its fair to say that, my friend, considering most people are giving valid reasons as to why they feel that way regarding Kitana's hair or costumes.
Its not like they are hating for the sake of hating.

How odd that everyone's complaining about Kitana's hair...whereas I find Mileena's much worse....It looks very much like Darth Vader's helmet...
Great video, they all look superb. Though I was very much impressed with Jade when she was revealed, I don't think she looks that hmm remarkable anymore in comparison with Kitana and even Sindel. Imo Mileena is the least noticeable when it comes down to appearance....
My friend just ignore them. PPL will never stop complaining so just try to ignore em. KITANA looks amazing and as long as we Kitana fans are happy, that's all that matters :).
