truthfully, the only characters from the last 3 games that I despised were Li Mei, Mokap, Kobra and Kira...the rest were fine.

Nitara, we need more non-human characters. She looks like a human with batwings I know, but she's the only female non-human from the newer games.

The only "new" characters introduced in MK4, MKDA, MKD and MKA that maybe could come back in a future mk game are:

Kira

Bo' Rai Cho. The intro of a drunken master was a very welcome addition to the series that brought back a classic kung fu feel for me. I just wish he'd stop farting.

The only post MKT characters I'd like to see would be

Tanya- Great character design and gives Jade a purpose.
Quan Chi- Obvious fan favorite.
Shinnok- His MKA alt. look is phenomenal. They should have made him darker and he would have been perfect. A battle against Raiden after a million years would be epic as fuck.

Kenshi- Great character design. In need of a new story.
Nitara- Great character design. I feel the MK Universe NEEDS a vampire character.
Li Mei- I've developed a crush on her. There's something I like about her, I don't know why. Though she's in desperate need of a story.
Bo Rai Cho- He works well with Lui Kang and Kung Lao, again something I like about him that I can't put my finger on.
Drahmin- Fantastic character design. The flies add a great touch, but NEEDS a new story with another character.
Mavado- I love this guy and his rivalry with Kabal. I think what would make him more interesting is if Nitara turned him into a vampire. He already looks like one with him trenchcoat and dark look. He needs the edge for sure to raise his fan count. It would also give him great story potential.

Hotaru- The order vs. chaos is too smart. They simply can't let it go to waste. I like his design, but he REALLY needs some new moves.
Havik-- See Hotaru.

my top 10 characters from post trilogy would be

4-drahmin(he was good if you knew how to use him)

8-mavado

9-kenshi

10-shinok

apart from that il be happy never to see any of those other characters again.
