I remember being 5-years-old in the laundromat where my mother worked and seeing Mortal Kombat for the first time as it was the only arcade machine they had. The first character I saw was Goro alongside his bio and I was like "Wow, 2000-year-old half dragon man with four arms?!". Haha.
As for the picture (if it is in fact an official concept) I'm impressed. Though as with all the currently confirmed characters' appearances I feel something is missing...can't quite put my finger on it but yeah, digging it for sure.

Do you think that it's a real leaked shot of Goro, or a very well fan art? Personally, I'm not sure...

Good job Shinomune! That is indeed an awesome Goro picture (even if I feel something is missing to make it jaw-droppinp).
Real or fake, it's a great shot.
PS: That's got to be one of the cutest and coolest MK sites ever. Just saying. I'm glad I now know it exists.

this is the best looking goro ever
Very, very nice overall. Sleek. Looking at this design gives me the impression that Goro will once again be a quick-moving, threatening boss who packs a punch, and not merely the lumbering brute he was throughout the 3D games. About time.

if that is not official goro art for mk9 then it damn well should be! 4 shokan thumbs up!

I like it! This certainly seems to be similar to the style we've already seen. I saw this thread and thought, "It's probably another fanmade pic," but now I'm not so sure...

i enlarged the photo so people can get a better idea of this possible new goro design. love the shoulder, leg and wrist armor.

Holy shit, I hope this is legit. Goro has ALWAYS been one of my favorite characters and he's always one of my mains in any MK where he's playable. This design looks awesome. I love that the big spiked wristguards are only one his upper arms too. Gives them more emphasis and it looks badass

Thats an awesome Goro design, best I've ever seen for him. Hopefully this is legit and makes the cut.

Very cool. While I'd prefer it if he was bulkier (the sheer HUGENESS of the shokans was what always made them so intimidating), it would still be a great addition to the game.
And hey, fingers crossed he won't actually be playable; there's simply no point to having boss characters if they're playable.

Seems pretty legit. The style of this render is really in line with the art style of the game. Looks pretty cool.
How did I miss this a few days ago? Anyway, it looks pretty darn real, and if it is I think he looks great. He actually looks like a great combination of his original look, his alt in Deception (with the armor bits and spikes), and he seems to have a few physical traits from the movie version even. He looks big, hard, and surprisingly cut and lean as well. I like it.

I know a few people are saying he does not look bulky enough, but I think he looks great but I would alslo like to see how his size is in comparison with someone like Scorpion or Johnny Cage.

I think he looks great and bulky enough. I mean look at his legs and arms. The muscles are huge, especially if comparing it to other characters. Its also pretty clear that he is much larger than the others shown so far. We just need a clearer image with exposure of his torso (especially chest).
Another detail I like is his eyes. Donno if people noticed, but he seems to have those dark eyes again from MK1, where they are not visible. Goro's eyes in MK1 always creeped the shit out of me.

Hell no man. What's the point of even rendering him and giving him a moveset if you can't even play as him. It's not like it's uncommon for boss characters to be ramped up for single player and balanced out for normal versus mode.

It might not be his MK 2011 concept but it is definitely legitimate. The photo was taken by Hector Sanchez's sister.
NetherRealm Studios apparently had an Open House of sorts and she took the picture of this epic MK Tome:

as well as the Goro pic, because it appears on her photography website:

kool, that probably almost kills the chance of this being a MK 2011 concept,
