I Really like the way Sindel looks. Never been a fan of Ermac but his look does not disappoint. Also, I don’t think those statue’s are part of the new warriors shrine. These Rain and Reiko statue’s are clearly part of the new presumed Shang Tsung’s garden stage. And if you look closely to those scans behind Sindel and far behind Sonya (which both are taken in that stage) you can see another two statue’s and they don’t look like Rain or Reiko. I still hope the original Warrior’s Shrine makes it as well.

What I really would like is an updated version of the original Warriors shrine containing statue’s of the original plus a few more of the Earth warriors only. And that Shang Tsung’s garden would contain statue’s of Shang Tsung’s warriors and Shao Kahn generals.

I understand the Sindel look... she just came back from the dead... so I'm happy with it.

However, the hair... whay can't the switch her hair with Kitana's.
I'm afraid the way it looks now, Sindel will be just as bland as she was in MK:D MK:A.

Time will tell....

As I wrote in original topic there is nothing new in the article except that Kratos will have his own arena, story, special moves and fatalities.

There is not a single word about Sindel, Ermac or the new arena from the background.

The article is a review of an early build of a game. I think such reviews are nonsense. They gave the game 9 out of 10.

Sindel looks fanmarvellous!

I am fairly pleased with Sindel's look, although Im also a little disappointed too. Im glad its very reminiscent of her MK3 costume, but I really liked Sindel's alternate costume in MKD I had hoped it would look more like that, Sindel looks better with sleeves, so hopefully her alternate will have some sleeves. From what we have seen of her face, I think they did a better job on Sindel's face in MKD, they should make it look more like that. Also, Kitana has the tiara thing and the earrings, Sindel needs to have a few accessories like that, I liked Sindel's tiara in MKD, and Sindel needs some earrings too, shes the freakin queen, she needs some jewelry too.

Decembers been a good month for me, first Storm for MVC3 and now my lovely Sindel! I'm one happy chappy.
She does look promising lets just hope her gameplay is up to scratch
since the team have been saying this is a fan service game, you'd expect them to reintroduce her classic moves seeing as the lack of hair throw and flight skills were very much missed. I also hope they dont reintroduce the foot grab move, it was so ungracful and just didn't fit her persona as a queen

Sindel looks FANTASTIC.

I'm truly pleased with her overall design and style. The colors in her outfit are fantastic and that brings me to this:

For anyone who still doesn't know there is a NEW scan of Sindel (fighting Jax, both air kicking each other) in much much better quality that shows off her costume and colors in better detail (all the other pics are also there in "hq" and there is a new one of Ermac shooting his green powers at Kratos).

Back to sindel:

THE GOOD:

* She looks sexy. The goth make-up is still there.
* Her new costume is a nice blend/mixture of her MKD (alternate) and MK3 outfits.
* Her hair looks long and cool.
* I love love LOVE the boot-straps around her legs and the straps in her waist.
* The purple + black colors are back.
* The MK3 collar is back.

THE BAD:

* To me, she doesn't really look evil enough.
* Her fireball seems to be more similar to her MKD fireball than her original MK3 attack.

I'm expecting a wicked, original, and very very goth alternate for Sindel. MKD really surprised us with a fantastic new goth design (the black/red alternate + crown), so, I have high hopes.

(I also have super high hopes for hair attacks/powers).

Sindel looks fantastic, nice to see her back.

I have only seen some fuzzy pics so far, so I wasn't able to see the purple. I was thinking the hair looked kinda bland and needs to be a bit bigger/longer.
More clothes would be nice but that seems to be asking for too much in this game.
I was hoping the tiara would make a comeback, maybe as an alternate?

Can anyone see if she has claws/nails? One thing I liked in MK3/UMK3 was that she used them in her combos and you could hear the slashing sound when she hit someone. I really hope they bring that fighting style back for her.

I don't really see the nails/claws, but, that was certainly one of my top favorite things about her in MK3.

I also hope to see them back.

For those who don't know yet, there appears to be an updated version of that youtube video with 3 new images, including a close-up of Sindel. You can find the link on the original video as well. It's in HD! She doesn't appear to be having sharp fingernails, but it's not 100% clear. (Also check out the battle damage on Sonya's vest... it appears those puppies are about to fall out. )

I agree with all except about her fireball. It's leaving a smoke trail, so I think it's a bit more like her MK3 projectile, more like a comet than a shooting star. It should've been back to blue though.

Also, about the THE GOOD, for me I would add the back cloth. It looks really good on her and is obviously derived from her alt. That pic shows a "damaged" Sindel so hopefully it looks better in full.



It'll be extremely difficult to top her MKD alt, but this is Sindel we're talking about, so I'm also expecting something creative and amazing for her alt.

I love the age you can see in Sindel's face in the one where she's kicking Jax!! Ageism is something that always bothered me in games in terms of women, and they're doing her justice. :They must have some bomb ass botox in Edenia. And if you're still searching for the scans look up on youtube: "mortal kombat scans sindel" and it's the second option.

i think im the only one who didn't like her alternate costume in deception, mainly because of those god awful pigtails, I mean come on only little girls should be aloud to have hair like that for christ sakes shes a freaking qeen, they just made her look like mutton dressed as lamb

You can see some battle damage on Sindel in one of these pics. How are her nipples not showing? I mean really? We should at least be able to see areola. I'd also like to know why the NRS has decided to remove the sides and middles of all the female characters outfits.
It's actually kind of funny lol.

Also I can see what's really bothering me about Jax now. The way his arms are make him look completely robotic. Almost like he's actually wearing human skin and his exposed arms are battle damage. Gross.
The pigtails are so inconsequential the rest of the outfit though. But I agree they didn't look good on her.

Not a fan of Sindel in the slightest so this is meh to me. What IS exciting to me though is the Ermac pics and Shang Tsung's Island!!! Holy crap!!! What a beautiful stage!!! Ermac is looking perfect. Can't wait to see his fighting style. Hope his stance is similar to what he has in MKD for his original style. Can't remember what it was called off the top of my dome.

Also, looking at Sindel's boots, are those not the same as the mysterious red girl Boon showed off a couple months ago? I don't have the pic handy, but they look the same to me. Maybe the red is her alternate or something.

I've just seen the photos and I am overly impressed! Sindel and Ermac look incredible! I cannot wait to see full renders and fully detailed images of them both. The battle damage on sonya is astounding as well. They're really going all out on this game and it's very good to see.

Yeah Sindel looks great. They're definitely hitting the mark with most of the character's appearances this time.

I was hoping for a style closer to her MK3 outfit but this is good. I like the goth style. She's still my favourite female character in the series.

Sindel wore a dress in MK3's story opening.

Sindel needs more accessories on her costume, she needs some earrings and a tiara like Kitana has, like I said before Sindel is a queen, they need to capture that in her costumes, like they did with Kitana's costume finally.

I also agree about the back cloth. I love it! I think she had something similar in her MKD alt, no? It is definitely a big plus in my book. I think her MKD alt shouldn't be too hard to top. I can think of thousands of creative and original designs for Sindel that I wouldn't forgive them if they didn't give her something eccentric for an alt.

I really want to see the goth, the elegant, and the crazy in one beautiful designed costume for Sindel.
