Now that I think about it... you're right. I wouldn't want to see a crown per se, not for this particular costume anyway, but earings, braclets, maybe a glamorous belt would top this costume off very nicely imo. It is sort of lacking, but then again, every female's costume is.

No. No, it wouldn't.

Sindel's costume needs some jewelry type stuff, Kitana's costume looks great and the tiara/earrings really top it off nicely. Sindel needs stuff like that to make her look more regal. I think Kitana's costume finally got to looking for princess-like, we should be able to tell Sindel is a queen, not just another female ninja who has long white hair.

I wouldn't be too much for a gypsy theme, more like a wicked sorceress/queen look. Whether she is Shao Kahn's queen or the queen of Edenia, she should look the part. Her new look is pretty decent for the wicked queen of Shao Kahn, but if I had my druthers, I'd change a few things.
1. Claws on her hands. That's just something I would love to see return. I always liked how she clawed at the opponent, and always associated that with her vicious personality and fighting style.

2. More dark makeup around the eyes.

3. A flowing cape or gown. Whether she is Queen of Outworld or Edenia, I think it would look cool on her, especially flying.

4. Longer hair. I think it's a little short for this incarnation.

5. Spikes or blades on her outfit. I think it would look pretty wicked with the darker color scheme.

6. Bring the tiara back. Either gold, or black with a lot of spikes on it.

I agree, she really needs her long fingernails back, Did she have those in MKD? I just remember them from MK3. I am pleased with the current costume design, they just need more to it, like I said before, she needs some kind of crown/tiara thing, maybe like a big necklace or choker since she doesnt have anything on her neck, some like jeweled arm bands like Kitana has would be good also, earrings for sure. Long sleeves would look good on this costume too, hopefully there will be on her alternate.

Wicked Gypsy/Sorceress suits Sindel. I like it.

I also agree with most people that I want to see more dark make up in her features AND those evil long nails back.

Also, spice up that hair and give it a life of its own!

I'm very please with Queen Sindel's look from the magazine scans! I just hope she has her hair moves and the ability to FLY!!! But make the flying more fun to do!
