Because we see him turn into a cloud of smoke during his normal teleport, but for the punch, he just jumps across the nether void that exists on the edge of the screen.

Lolwut? That's called teleporting. It's a completely reasonable power for the Lin Kuei master of escape to have. He does it the same way Scorpion and Ermac do it. Rain, on the other hand, has no reason what so ever to be making OTHER PEOPLE teleport. Tell me, what the fuck does that have to do with storm powers or hydrokinesis? Nothing, that's what. Doesn't make sense.


MK in general doesn't make sense. So what's the point of sitting here and trying to make sense of something that has NONE?

I'm not up for wasting my brain cells on this "debate".

I'm just saying, if he's going to have it, tie it into his powers SOMEHOW. I gave some options before. Otherwise Rain is that ninja who manipulates the weather, but for some reason he can also kick you around the world in a matter of seconds. He has it down to a science, so you land at his feet every time. Come on guys, it's not because it doesn't make sense. It's just because it has nothing to do with his established powers at ALL. It's random and silly.

In short,here's the gist of it - I can accept that a ninja who shoots ice exists in this fictional universe,but that doesn't mean we can start assuming that logic and common sense no longer apply.

Do you guys think Kenshi and Rain will be released simultaneously or will Rain come a week or so after?

They're both coming in July either way.
