I'm hoping they add more depth to what he already has. He doesn't need anything drastically new, don't fix what ain't broke. I could see him being raised as a general in Kahn's army and Kahn killing his father. Angry and full of rage, Rain leaves the army. He then learns that it wasn't his real father but a soldier who took him in as a child, hence Quan Chi comes around tells him of his true heritage. Rain turns into that cocky sonofabitch we know him as while he goes on a blood drenched quest for power.

I could see Rain's ending involving him leading an onslaught against Kahn and killing him for revenge.

Rain seeks power and unlike these other shitheads, he actually goes out and gets it!

Really? So no Vegeta personality? I like him suited as Vegeta.

"The Kid" (Rain) is an aspiring and talented, but troubled Edenian musician with a difficult home life. He meets a singer named Tanya (Tanya Kotero), and they become involved in an untidy romance. The plot centers on Rain trying not to repeat the pattern of his abusive father, played by Bob Carter, and keep his band, The Revolution, and his relationship with Tanya, together. His main antagonist is fellow musician Jade and her group The Pole.

Ya think he'll go head to head with Liu Kang for Kitana's heart?

I always thought he'd be more of a Vega (Claw) from Street Fighter, only without being so focus on beauty and much more focused on dominance and power. Make him a beautiful man, but make him as disgusting and revolting on the inside as possible.

Having him step on people's faces while they're down. When he goes berserk with a combo, have him yell out wild cackles of laughter. Make him a fast sadistic bastard.

I don't see Rain being a punk who kicks people when there down. I actually thought the opposite. He delivers a classier kill. Clean and fast.

He can say a stupid catch phrase like "I'm gonna make it Rain" lol

Rain's bio... like it said.

- He's gotta be half Edenian/demigod.
- A prince?
- Quan Chi tells Rain the truth of his real origin.
- Rain's place is taken over by Quan Chi to participate in the tournament.
- Rain trains alone to master his true powers. Tries to prove to all the realms and Edenia that he's no joke.
- Intends to conquer Edenia and fight Shao Kahn in his own way and battle any realm that stands in his way.
- Mannerisms of Vegeta.

rain's story is pretty much fine as is. the edenian traitor who betrayed his realm and joined shao kahn. maybe he might secretly want to defeat shao kahn and become king of edenia or whatever. something like that, give him a motive.

oh, and those taunt ideas are some of the worst i've ever read, no offence or anything.

As long as his story has no link to Quan Chi I'll be happy. I'm just getting a little tired with all these Quan Chi relations lately.

Myabe they can reveal that Rain helped Shao Khan kill Jerrod somehow.
