Real ending videos this time?
Does anyone else hope as much as I do that they actually have good endings for this game instead of just a drawing or a guy doing tai chi? I'd love it if they actually had good voice acting and did fully animated endings even if they use the in game models although CGI would be better.

I hope they're FMVs, if Warner Bros is backing it up it should have high production.

I'd certainly like to have cinematic endings, but I'm cool with the paintings if they feel that's best. Having said that, there's a part of me that feels that since this is a reboot, it'd be cool to have Trilogy throwback endings with nothing but text and a character render.

Story Mode will be cut scene after cut scene, beginning, middle, and end.
When you take that into account, I think paintings can be forgiven and even a welcome format for the individual character epilogues in Arcade Mode.

I hope for movie endings.
I love the Picture endings but I'm seriously sick of always having just one or two lazy pictures. COME ON!! If we are getting Pictures (again), give us at least 3 or 4 (preferably more) picture endings to look forward to.
I hated how the artwork was so beautiful in MKvsDC, but we only got one picture per character. So boring.

If it wasn't for MK4/MK Gold having FMV endings, we probably wouldn't quite be as adamant about having FMV endings again. After all, when you have something once, why not keep having it?
But then again, with other fighting game franchises having them, with Tekken being the benchmark for FMV endings since the first game, they may play a factor as well. Even Street Fighter has recently entered the "FMV territory" with Street Fighter IV, as well as the "Super" follow up, and even Tatsunoko VS Capcom.
Hell, even something like the Watchmen motion comic where they're basically glorified still images with minor motions added set to a voiceover would be nice. After all, that was Warner Bros as well
I think if a "side crew" could work on 26 FMV endings, it would be awesome. Hell, the opening of the teaser trailer shows just how good FMV endings could look. We know we at least will get a good FMV opening (as per usual), but it would just be nice to have FMV endings, even if they were glorified in-game graphics a la MK4/Gold.

Yes please. Video endings with the in game graphics and visuals and voice acting, would be perfect. My money's on that.
