Time does not work that way, time itself is not a constant. Time is relative in alomst every case.

That would probably explain why Kitana and the other Edenian leftovers are 10,000 year old, probably they are just like the MK Earth equivalent of people, just compared to us, their time flows slower compared to ours (why this irks me to no end is that a 10,000 year old would not have the same psychologic profile they have. After 10,000 you will not act like a 20-30 year old, but that would be pointless to represent in the game actually. Being a few hundred years old would have sufficed).

And that is not counting magic as the superlative explanation for everything else.

That would have brought up a really good point... but if you research the history of Edenia.
You would learn that most Edenians are decendants of Gods. So that could be a maybe but it could be because of the divine bloodlines

Yes, Rain's MKA bio revealed that the reason Edenians live for thousands of years is because their ancestors mated with the gods. It has nothing to do with time moving at a different pace.

The ONLY realm where there's any canon evidence for time passing differently than in the other realms is Chaosrealm, and only in that pool of water. (Although...something really weird seems to be going on in the MK9 version of Outworld's Evil Monastery.)

The only place Shujinko will be playable will be in MK11 where the Dragon King Saga is in.
