I'm not wasting my money on her.The blood thing is all she has going for her as far as creativity goes.Her look is just like all the other females scantily clad,and her movements look kinda like Kitana to me.I mean really did a 16 teen year old boy come up with the female design's?I'm begging to see a a female character go in to a mk tournament looking like a fighter instead of the girls on Pennsylvania Ave.

Also this whole (they all look like skanks) yea? this is a fighting game lol I dont know why people think there going to get some strong fully clothed independent female. Theres some clothed females in streetfighter but thats about it (havnt played the virtua fighter series so that ones up in the air)

Cant agree with u my friend.The Tekken girls,VF girls all look like they belong in what there doing.The Mk girls just look so out of place to me I mean its just my opinion but I feel whatever a characters story is in the game they should look the part not the exact opposite.

Listen, the Edenians are THOUSANDS of years old AND have an immense amount of pride in their appearance. Don't you think the women have mastered the art of fighting in high heels?

The only female fighter who looks awkward is Ms. Blade. I don't blame Johnny for not knowing she's special forces when she looks ridiculous. However, I give kudos to NRS for finally giving her enough work done that she looks female AND not basic this time around (though I did like her MKvDC attire).

Yeah, my first response was strictly about the original three female ninjas and Sindel. However, like Spider said, it's clear Skarlet is not human and so fighting in high heels (which she actually utilizes in her moveset) would not be a problem.

I'm curious about her storyline, where she comes from, her alliances etc. though her ending already explains a thing or two (or did I miss further information??). I also like her bloodpowers, it's awesome. I'm, however, not impressed with her appearance, not at all. I think I'd like her hooded and all...And her voice....well it might fit with her character, a bit creepy.

There's a lot to love about Skarlet's grand reveal... and a few things I don't necessarily like.

The GOOD:
- She looks really fun and original. Blood-based powers are put to good effect with an interesting intro, teleport, projectile, and fatalities.
- Her costume looks much better in motion.
- She seems totally unique in play style compared to others.
- Amazing X-ray.

The BAD:
- Half her moves I feel could be given to either Nitara or Sareena... and considering I REALLY wanted Sareena in the game, that makes me understandably concerned Skarlet just "took her spot" for DLC.
- Her voice is a tad annoying, and the lack of any spoken dialogue during the intro (or in general) is going to limit the amount of personality she shows.
- I still think her outfit is a tad ridiculous, but I'm not gonna lose sleep over it.

Personally, I am excited but disappointed that she's a bit of a Kira or Jarek type, taking the best elements of Nitara and Sareena (from moves to look to even her story) instead of really standing on her own, while negating the chances of character I want over her of popping up and making a big splash.

More Kenshi,Shinnok and Rain , less Skarlet please!

The look may be uninspired (pre-fighting style reveal anyway) but her fighting style is anything but!
