I see him every match or so. He was rare in MK2 but in MK9, nope

Unfortunately he doesn't pop out too often.

It's sad how some people still haven't witnessed it...

Has anyone found out the toasty boost yet?

I am pretty sure it was said to be given when you get a hit with Forden on the screen. It awards Full meter I believe.

I just got it right now.

It just gives a full meter.

Well if it does give full meter, if i happened to have got it I most of the time have meter so i wouldn't of noticed a change but i doubt it.

It makes a distinct sound which is pretty odd to the ear.

It's like a *phhhhhhhhhhshhhhhhiiiiii*.

Lucky. I have only seen him maybe 7 times and I've had this game since release.

I see him less than frequently. It is pretty nostalgic to see him pop out and say "Toasty!", he even has a shirt that has buttered toast on it.

I see him all the time. Not every match, but certainly every play session.

I love his inclusion, and I'm glad its rare.

I wasn't a big fan of him popping in soooo much in MK3. Kind of kills the ambiance, imo.

I am a huge fan of the 'Toasty' and I wish he would pop up a little more often like in UMK3. Back then he used to say 'Crispy' and 'Frosty' in UMK3 they should of added that in MK 9 or when scorpions toasty fatality was done he should of pop up. Dan Forden makes the game fun when he pops up.

When I take my bread from the freezer, it's Frosty. When I put it to the toaster, it's soon Crispy. Then when I take it from the toaster, it's Toasty.

It would have been cool if they had Dan Forden come out on screen as a 3D model instead of a still image for MK9.

it's funny how yesterday i was playing against a mate and explaining about 'Toasty' when DF popped up as if to prove the point.

I'm not sure what constitutes too rare..

Toasty pops up at least 2 times during the average arcade ladder for me.. This is often enough for me, since Toasty is now little more than a fun piece of nostalgia..

Toasty isn't tied to the game-play in really significant manner and it's not attached to the unlocking of hidden characters any more. So it appears more than often enough!!

If Toasty was still the method for unlocking the hidden fight against Smoke, then we'd probably all still be trying to earn it..

I've only gotten it once and I have had it since the month it came out.

I wouldn't say it's too rare. If they had it be more common, not only would it not be as special, but it also may get annoying.
