Shao Kahn has to be one of them as well as Kano.

Well the fastest characters are fact not opinion. Characters with quick recovery teleports or specials are considered fast. Kung Lao and Smoke are cosidered fast because of their teleports, Jade and Cage are fast because of their specials, Kano and Stryker are fast because of their projectile abilities.

But if I had to guess.

1. Smoke- His teleport and smoke slides make him by far the quickest character on the roster.

2. Jade- Her gameplay is quick and her shadow kick is fast enough to chain and it's great for closing gaps.

3. Kung Lao- Effortless teleport + Dive kick lets him clear distances with ease.

4. Kano- His Knife is one of the fastest projectiles in the game and his cannon ball spins are an added bonus.

5. Johnny Cage- Over all his specials are fast(Minus his energy ball) and his gameplay keeps pace with them.

3 & 4 = Wrong

3. I play as kung lao a lot online and when I do that teleport i get punished easily because its kind of slow and they just uppercut me.

4. Stryker's gun shots count as projectiles and you can not see them because they go very fast bc there projectiles.
