Kitana,though I hate how she is portrayed in recent games.I still wonder how Kevin Tancharoen,a simple fan of MK,understands much better how Kitana is supposed to be portrayed rather than developers themselves. These are the times I miss John Tobias...

I voted Kitana.

Kahn is great. One of the most lovable douchebags in video games. The way he puts his hands on his hips to laugh at us and tell us we suck is funny as hell, even when we spam him with projectiles. He's just THAT arrogant.

But Kitana is my all-time favorite character, so it's nothing against him when I'm voting for her.

Kitana, I'm a wee bit bored of both though..

I don't even like Kitana much, but Shao Kahn is actually beating her at the moment? OH MY GOD the man-love is ridiculous. He is so.... Effing.... Crappy. Sure, she's boring, but at least she has a good weapon! Kahn is a big nothing! A nothing I tell you, a nothiiiiiing!

Dramatizations aside, if Sonya's the only female to survive to next round, I'm calling bullshit. She's too butch to count.

Well we have only got to fight against Shao Khan instead of fight as him except in Trilogy/Armaggedon, and as iconic as Kitana and her weapon is she automatically gets my vote; plus she's my favorite anyhow.

I just don't see her losing to him just because he's the final boss in almost ever game, if that's the case then Shinnok should've won being everyone wants him to finally have a chance at something. Shao Khan's boring I'd give it to his whore barely-in-green first. Yeah his fatality that I don't get to control was a pretty good one, but will never add up to that of Kitana! Also, just because they use his voice for everything doesn't mean squat!!!

He's completely a 1-trick-pony!!! DASH, DASH, DASH, DASH, NOW IN THE CORNER, DASH, DASH, DASH, he stands NO chance winning $h!t in my book; I give him nothing for his cheap wins all these years!!!

As boring as he is, you can't deny he's a badass.

Shao Kahn all the way I enjoy his victory shriek from MKD I think he is one hell of a boss. Factoring in that it took the Elders and Raiden to take him down. He went out like a boss.

Also, we may never see Kahn again so why vote for kitana. R.I.P Shao Kahn.

Kitana! :) Every time she is announced for a new game I get excited and can't wait to see her design, they always do something neat with her.

Hmm... he won Armageddon. You know whats cheap going back in time because you got your ass kicked in Armageddon.

I wonder. Do edenians have last names? Would there be other women simply known as kitana in edenia? And is Shao his first name or a title? Is khan his last name or first name?
Anyhow i voted kitana seeing as Shes the last of her realm in the competition unless you count Ermac who has jerrods soul inside them.

I voted Kitana. In all fairness, she only really went a bit stle in MK:Unchained, MK vs DC and MK:Armageddon, but I liked her portrayals in MK2, UMK3, MK4 MK:DA and I loved her design and gameplay in Shaolin Monks. Her alt is a bit questionable in MK9 (as is her rebooted story) but her gameplay is fantastic.

Anyways, I voted for Kitana. Khan (Jones) is a great boss, and I've always loved the trash talking, but Kitana's always been one of my favorites. Love the fans, love how they change her look in each passing game. She's just awesome.

Just an aside here, but I'm a little surprised that the mob of "down with Scorpion" people all seem fine with Sub-Zero absolutely curb-stomping Quan Chi.

I heard "we need some unpredictability" and "Scorpion's the face of MK and it makes me grrrrrr" and "I'm sick of ninjas" and a bunch of other arguments that all seem to apply to Sub-Zero as well.

No judgment, I guess. But I just find it kind of strange, especially given how badly Scorpion lost and how thoroughly Sub-Zero won last round.
