Are you kidding me? Despite that it didn't help save Midway, (One video game can't do it all) it was actually one of the best selling Mortal Kombat games in a long time, so I certainly doubt that it sucked that badly.

LOL, that's why I asked twice when it was supposed to end, because I didn't find that fair at all for Jade fans, yet again it's just a video game, so kudos to Cage if he gets it. That's why I don't feel guilty/bad/wrong for campaigning to 2 very close friends of mine to sign up and vote for her since they were over earlier today; even though they wanted Kitana and Scorpion lol, which Scorpion's gone anyhow and Kitana is not up again yet.

Well it's been about 4 years since I logged in here even though I'm a frequent visitor. I decided to actually log in because my vote might actually matter!

My vote goes to Cage because while he's always been a favorite of mine, the stars all aligned for him in the last game. He got great dialogue, fun gameplay, and he actually survived. He was kind of in bad shape in the last generation, (rather unimportant to the story, completely absent from MKvsDC, etc.) so I'm happy he's on the right track again.

Jade definitely surprised me with these votes so kudos to her. A cool character who I'd love to see more of in the future.

I just have a final message to Jade fans before this match ends:

Jade, you had a good run, you too Cage. But whichever of you wins, know that Kung Lao wll destroy youlater. Kung Lao FTW. And Cage Fans and Jade fans alike, they are both great characters.

Meh, Kung Lao was lame in MK9. Cage was the soul of the last game, both in gameplay and story.

Well well...turns out some Jade fans actually did make several accounts to vote as many times as possible in this! Umm...wouldnt this be considered cheating mods?? I mean i didnt make random friends of mine, or cousins, or my mom, or whoever sign up for this! :S

I kinda consider it cheating as well. To ask a friend or a family member to make an account just to vote for a character... Yeah, I would consider that cheating. It's like ganging up on people with your friends just to make sure you win the fight.

If the poll was resolved the time it should have been resolved, Jade would have won. However, due to delay, Cage got the chance to take the lead. I'm not making up conspiracies or calling this rigged and I am not saying that the mods went "Jade shouldn't win, we'll wait until Cage gets more votes" or anything of the like. I still think it sucks that Cage won due to overtime, but I'm not butthurt about it. Jade lost, oh well, life goes on and what's done is done.

I don't know, if said friend or family member is actually a mortal kombat fan, I don't think it's cheating. Now, if they weren't, and the only reason they're voting is a favor to you and your character, then yeah, get outta hea lol. the more fans, the merrier, I say, just my opinion...

Lame? Kung Lao fairly fought and had epic Fatalities, the buzzsaw! But Cage had to nut punch his way to victory so he could drive a trophy into somebody's head? Sorry, but it seems more like Cage was just comic relief in the last game, not the soul. The soul of the new game was EVERY character. Every character had ups AND downs, Kung Lao wasn't the soul, neither was Raiden, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Scorpion or Kratos. An MK game wouldn't be complete without a boss, strange story, or gruesome se of fatalities, that we can all agree on. My actual thoughts, the tournament for "Supreme Mortal Kombat Champion" is actually of no use, the best character is different to each player. Mine-Kung Lao, yours, Johnny Cage. So wether Cage ends up with his nuts getting a taste of their own medicine via Kung Lao's hat or Kung Lao ends up feeling what it's like to win an Emmy at the exact moment of death, I feel like I won. The only people who really got knocked down a few pegs were Chameleon fans and Cyber Sub-Zero fans, and I'll let those guys know that those two are also awesome characters.
