Apologize me but I have to criticize you: got to tell that you should think of another manner of receiving new fragile ideas, because what you are doing now is rather rude and immature. You don't go to bash on a rising artist by trying to find all the flaws from their artwork either just because you like the concept it's based on, do you? Not everyone dares to stand behind their fragile and innovative ideas because of people like you. For real, think of it. You are free to tell your opinion on it, in a mature way, but you don't have to bash on it for two pages or so (see vanishing winds...). Insulting the poster is an immature and unintelligent way to express yourself and, as a matter of fact, prohibited in forum rules.
About the idea noobsmoke_mk: such a relationship could even work if you look at other series with similar events. One example is the relationship between
Chloe and Doomsday in Smallville. Maybe you should proceed your idea further to make it seem more sensible.
Oh please, it's not because of the idea about Smoke and Jade, it's the whole "Jade wants to smoke his pole" thing that makes me think of him as disgusting. I cannot and will not take people like that seriously, so sorry if that offends you.
I might come off as harsh and critisizing, but only towards those who do not take the main topic seriously. If you have an idea and you want to present it, then come with some good arguements for how the idea could work! Then I shall respect it. However, neither of you succeeded in doing so, and so I come with my hammer of judgement.
There was no legit reasons Jade would ever have "plant powers", but from what I read in the Smoke thread, there were actually some good ideas about the Smoke/Jade romance. I might be against the whole romance idea, but they had some good arguements for it. And then noobsmoke_mk provides us with some disgusting sicko pervert comments about it which made me lose all respect towards him. And he's done so about other topics as well which makes me wonder if he simply trolls or if he is truly serious about it. Whatever the case, then I cannot and will not take him seriously because of it.
If the idea is fragile, it will break. And if you can't handle the discussions on a message board like this, then don't post in it.
That said, I am all in for innovative ideas. But give the ideas some ground when presenting them!
