No, she hasn't. She has this green dust in her shadow kick. I'm not saying that Jade would now have plant moves in the next game but it was a thought I threw in and besides there are other characters who have changed or expanded their special move styles (e.g. Mokap). Don't worry, it isn't as likely to see a female ninja stick with an element as with male ninjas (with the expection of Tanya maybe). It's a speculative thought I threw in (common while anticipating a game in forums). You should receive new special move ideas openly instead of by arguing means. Throw in a few unique and new special moves for Jade yourself then.

Idea given was inspired by original post. Give your own unique special moves for Jade who opposed then, I gave mine (theme). I'm okay with the current Jade, I'm not saying that. But this topic shouldn't have existed in the first place, I'm off of this one.

OK. I thought this thing was solved but why don't you TheNinjasRock071394 give us a bunch of new and unique moves for Jade? I admit that it may have not been the best idea but idea still and you shouldn't bash on that.

Jade in MK2 was fast and mysterious, she was kinda slowed down in MKD but i hope in this game she is more fast and unique

But Ed Boon said no 2 characters would have the same move, so if Kitana has the Teleport Jade will not have,

But saying that If Kitana has the teleport where she spins

and Mileena has the Teleport where she falls threw the floor... maybe theres hope for Jade, But i doubt it...

Kitana - Spins to opposite side
Milenna - Falls threw the floor
Kung Lao - Jumps into the hair
Scorpion - Jumps off screen
Sub Zero - Falls into the ground
Sektor - falls into floor and hits you
Cyrax - explodes and reapears next to you,

Jaded-Raven, I don't see the need in getting so argumentative really. Sure, Jade is your favourite character or whatever, but seriously. It was just a creative suggestion made by Zmoke... nothing to get so worked up about. He wasn't even being aggressive back either, no need to get riled up about it all, it was just a move suggestion. People need to not take things so seriously and defensively when their favourite character is mentioned - although you are entitled to your opinion too.

Anyway, as for the thread, I think that'd be a great addition; to be honest i'm hoping most of these recently announced classics have all their classic special moves. I hope the staff returns also.

Jade had the boomerang as her projectile move in UMK3, and then they reinvented it into the Razor-Rang, a three-bladed boomerang/shuriken in MKD. Tanya used an actual boomerang in MK4 as her weapon, however, it looks quite different than Jade's.

Hopefully, Kitana won't have a teleport move. Indeed many characters have a teleport move, but at least they work differently from one another.



I know, but seriously... Plants? It's like he totally missed the concept of her character. And it's not just because it was Jade (I just happened to see it as the topic is about Jade), I would react the same way with any character! Like when people don't get that Rain's powers include all kinds of storm-control and not just water, or something alike. To me it is important that a character gets moves that befits his or her character!

If he at least had some good reasons for her to gain such powers... But no! He said Jade should get plant powers, because she wears green and she can be spotted in the Living Forest stage in MK2... Seriously, a piece of my soul withered...

If anyone watched the Tanya trading card from MKD you will have noticed that Ed Boon made a error saying that the boomarang was Tanyas and that she was getting it back in MKD.... which she didn't......

Ya a Kilik style would be cool (*is playing sc4 right now*) but she'd probably need to use her punches and kicks a lot more and not be 100% staff. Hmm.. well i'm pretty sure a lot of the mk1 - mk3 characters had a teleport because it was an easy move to add with the current technology... and it looked cool (*knows that some of them got there teleport after mk3*). You could add Raiden to the list and i don't think sub-zero has his teleport in this one.



Oh and even though the plant move discussion is old and done, I think i'd be an interesting concept if we got a new character (if we had to have a new character) who was plant based, I could think of a lot of cool moves that they could have, eh.. I don't think we should give Jade the plants though.

Nuh uh. The only thing close to a teleport he has in this game is his intro and really that's less of a teleport and more of an excuse to bring him into the stage.

Sub Zero did have a move in his cinematic from the gamespot widget that wasn't a teleport, but it appeared as though he turned into mist for a few frames while a projectile traveled through him.

Well, as far as I know, Subbie haven't gotten his teleportation move in the new MK. It hasn't been shown in any of his gameplay videos so far.

There will be no friendships in the new MK and Tanya has fire as her element of power. Plants wouldn't fit into her moveset at all.

How did this topic suddenly turn into plants, Jade, and Tanya? The move... Vanishing Winds... I don't want Jade to have a teleporting move, even with Kitana I don't want to see this move return for either character.

So many characters has a teleporting move that it's getting repetitive now.

^lol you'll probably see more teleporting moves..post above says scorpion, sub-zero, sektor, cyrax, mileena, kitana all have teleporting moves..jade, smoke, noob saibot will probably have them too..not too sure about rain or ermac tho
