anything and everything, I have music on a flash drive just for this game. specific artists are linkin park, eminem, and city high. (yes I have techno syndrome on the flash drive)

I usually don't listen to music while playing a game. Takes my focus away. However, if I were to play anything while playing this game, it would be Rammstein.

I will stick to the music in the game itself. I am hoping to still see some awesome remakes for certain arena's.

Mortal Kombat always had great music; MKM:SZ, MK3 and MK4 are among my favourites.

Disturbed. Indestructable is awesome.

I want to hear the game music first.If it's dark then the game music for sure.If not,then some dark DnB to set the mood for me.Maybe some industrial if it fits.

Oh god that is tough. The first three games have the best score, and have my favorite tracks.

The temple from MK3 is by far my favorite piece. Genre wise I may get hate in the community but if somebody had a gun to my head I would say the more techno style from MK3. I really like the music of the streets, the bridge, and the subway are some of my favorite tracks and it matched the characters and the surroundings so well, I loved it.

The cool creepy/oriental style of MK2 is a close second, but ultimately I like MK3's style more.

This is a bit off topic, but a buddy of mine got a twitter update from a guy he follows and it told him that Justin Bieber is now 17, so one more year till he can legally get his ass kicked. Haha

I spend 90% of my gaming time with the sound muted. Mostly because I don't want to disturb my wife, who is usually watching TV. When I have it on, I generally prefer the in-game soundtrack. Nothing else really fits.

A video game's soundtrack is just as important as a films score. MK always got the music right out of everything everytime IMO, especially MK3.

Very true. Even though I prefer the soundtrack of MKII (but I prefer everything in MKII), MK3 had a solid and memorable soundtrack with some of the best tracks in the history of the series. In fact, I would probably say that MK3 DID have better music than MKII.

Though MKII has the best Fatality music ever.

I usually just listen to MK's in game soundtrack, they usually knock it out of the park in that department, but I might occationally put on some rock/rap/techno mix maybe, find some fitting songs.

Probably just MK music, but if I had to listen to something else, Kasabian.
