Without a doubt, centaur Motaro!

Regardless of what Raiden does to screw up history, I still expect the plot will follow the general format of "Shang's Island, Outworld, Earth Invasion", with each of the three chapters having a sub-boss and boss the same as they were in the original games.

I have a feeling we'll see all three, but if I were to choose, I'd go for Kintaro. I'd like to see him fleshed out more

Same here! I think he's seriously underrated, and can kick Goro's butt any day!

Perhaps if the 'choose your destiny' ladders make a return, each could have it's own sub-boss.

However, if I can only pick one, I've gotta go with Goro. I like Kintaro and Motaro (and even Noob-Smoke if they count), but Goro is a classic.

All 3 for sure! Seeing as this takes place from MK1-3 I can't see the game with out them.

Preferably just Goro and Motaro.

I like Motaro the most, but realistically it would probably be Goro just because he has the most significant part in the storyline whereas the other two are more or less "filler" characters. Plus Goro is by far the more iconic one of the three.

I'd like to see Kintaro, but I'm guessing Boon & Co will go with Goro if only one of those three is to be used.

Personally I'd rather see Goro as a heavy weight type player and use Kintaro or Motaro as the sub-boss.

I think they should make this game really hard to finish. So I would pick Endurance (fighting against a tag team), Shang Tsung, Kintaro (baddest subboss of all) and finally Shao Kahn.

seriously though. Ive seen way too much of Goro, and the idea of Motaro was ruined horribly with MKA. Kintaro is the only one left that I care to see.

BUT

Seeing as this is a reboot. We need to pay respects to the idea that we will most likely see all 3 of them anyways. I would expect it to have a random sub-boss before a random boss.

Seriously though, I can only repeat what everyone else has said. They should just follow the basic combat ladders and use the same sub bosses. I am really more curious about the playability of these sub bosses.

I'd like it to be Centaur Motaro.
Maybe have him Tagging with Kintaro or Shang-Tsung.

Maybe it will be an extremely difficult version of "Endurance" with both Kintaro and Goro.


On a serious note, I'd like it if they completely re-vamped Goros look. I feel like he looks TOO cartoony. Let's aim for more of an MK1 look, maybe not a claymation goro but try to give him a similar look. I feel like Goro's character especially has looked a little too cartoony. If we're going based of their looks in MK;A, I'd rather Kintaro, however Motaro didn't get a fair shake in 3D, since this is 2D, they could possibly make a pretty bad ass Centaur Motaro.

In all seriousness though, it would be cool to fight both Goro and Kintaro in a tag team mode, whether or not you are playing tag team yourself. 1 v 2? LET ME HAVE IT.

The more I thought about it, I'd actually like a sub-boss battle involving a rival, a'la SFA3 (complete with dialogue).
