Slighty off topic, but was there ever any reason explained or implied as to why it was called "Jades Desert" ? Did Jade's story ever mention a desert? Just wondering

Personally, I always (ald I have to say very arbitrarily) related the desert w the fallen Saurians. Being a matriarchal society i would like this to be a big ol saurian goddess... besides... that way she is kinda like the one from the Spirit Temple in Zelda!!! Hehehe

I bet we are gonna get some info on who it is or who made it though, the MK team has been trying to tie the MK universe tighter toghether, so we'll prolly get some hints or explanation as to who used to roam that desert or what it was before it became a desert.

I've always looked at it as either an area Jade was assigned by Kahn to keep guard over, or just plain given to her once he took over Earth. Probably the latter; I could see him divvying up territory among his top lieutenants.

It is Sindel. It's her MK# costume. You can see her hair, her jacket and her boots. It's obvious when you see the game in person.

I was really hoping that was her jacket. I like the high collar on it. I hope she is wearing it again for this game.
