I believe someone said they found a website that told them Shao Kahn Gave Jade the Desert, as well as her Staff as gifts for her Loyalty...hence the name "Jade's Desert"

I think that was someone trying to give Jade some back-story. Besides it's just called The Desert in this game anyway.

That would be me, in a previous thread about the women of MK.
Something I read of a web-site a loooooong time ago.
It was also posted on a Jade fan-site, but of course there's no official info about it from what I can find on the internet.

somewhere in the forums there was a picture posted from the video where Mileena makes her entry for a fight in the desert, rumor is it might be Queen Sindel's statue.
