why does everyone want tanya and reiko so bad for dlc

i never played mk4 but all i see is tanyas is some girl with fire powers and she flys a little and shes evil and reiko doesnt even have any interesting powers. i actully think reikos cool though but they should both be saved for the next game but still i dont understanding why people like them soo much i could think of way better dlc characers
The increase of mass of demand is directly proportional to the lowering in quality. Just how independent thought hass less power in a greater mass of people.
There are a few exceptions to this rule,a s something can be good and popular at the same time. This is not the case here.

This a good question (especially in regards to Tanya). It's funny, because I'm one of those people requesting them so much, even though I'm perfectly fine with them being left for the next game.
To be honest, idk what's so special about both of these characters to me. Reiko was hands down my favorite character in MK4, and I actually think he's pretty unique. Tanya is a little generic (though she's pretty hot), but I still think she's cool too. I think for me, it's simply that when thinking about post-MK3 characters for DLC, Tanya and Reiko are the only two I really care about. I didn't care much for the characters introduced in MKDA and MKD, other than Frost, but we already have 2 Sub-Zeros anyways. I DID like Sareena in MKA, but she never had much of a shot at DLC for this game anyways.

They are exceptionally great characters!
Sareena has a really good chance.
Sareena and Reiko hasn't seen much of the MK atmosphere, so, it could be either one. Reiko does have a huge fanbase.

I don't get it either, they are both boring to me along with Sareena. I probably shouldn't state my opinion though because the higher power will call me a troll again...

I think had you played MK4 you would understand . Even though the game was very downplayed I enjoyed it and still enjoy it today. Of all the characters introduced through that game Tanya and Reiko both had the best stories and I find them to be interesting characters. When I saw Tanyas return to MKD i was excited and i liked her story even more, but they could've did a little more work on her imo .
the one thing I didnt like about MK4 was how they basically kinda dropped a lot of the main characters....

I call bullsh*t on Reiko.
His bios states that he was a once-general of Kahn who now fights for Shinnok. Then he in the ending walks onto Kahn's throne through a portal and the skull-helmet lowers on his head.
It was the most nondescript ending ever done in an MK game, as in the first version he just went through the portal. So your interesting story is basically a very vague story, if it was a story to being with.
Tanya was crucial to set up MK4 being the traitor who let's the reject squad into Edenia. I admit that, but to call Reiko as an integral part of the story in MK4 (sure, he was fleshed out somewhat in MKA) is a huge misnomer.

They are two of the few post MK3 who actually had interesting stories.

When MK4 first came out out, I wasn't a fan of either. Tanya won me over in Deception though.
I still don't really care for Reiko, but I'm very interested to see what they do with him in MK4. Seeing the dynamics between him and the other MK4 villains has me really excited.

I never said ANYONE was integral by any means , just stated that imo Tanya and Reiko were the most interesting characters introduced through MK4 . Had OnagaDragonKing played MK4 he would probably feel the same way about these two characters as the majority of the other individuals crying for them to be DLC. While you seemingly found Reikos MK4 ending bland or whatever you wanna call it, i found his power-hungry based storyline very intriguing as I do basically all the megalomaniacs of the MK Universe. They all have their own plans for attaining that power, and how they attempt to achieve that is what is interesting to me .
I also thought his moves were somewhat different . && i would love to see him make an appearance in MK10

Lmao!
Who's everybody? I don't really want them...
I only like Tanya, but I really want Frost to be DLC. Adding Tanya in this means another Edenian
Sindel
Kitana
Jade
Mileena (in a way)
Rain
That would be six Edenians if she gets included, and a lot of people have been complaining that there's too much of everything now and days when it comes to this game.

I had. Many times infact. And I primordially hated half the roster from the get-go. Kai, Tanya, Reiko, Shinnok were insufficient in every way. But the whole game overall was a huge ugly disappointment.
Pray tell, where in MK4 was said that Reiko is power hungry? Explicitly in MK4, because for the best of my knowledge, there was nothing stated about Reiko. The problem I find is that simple megalomania in itself is not a trait that I have not seen, read, heard before. Probably on Shang, Quan and Shao Kahn were the only ones who did proper plotting and backstabbing with explicitly mentioned methods (teaming up with the oni, gathering the souls more recently, forging fake amulets, poisoning the Dragon King). Reiko for example has nothing in kind.

I wouldn't mind sareena. But I'm meh about everybody else. I mean we basically have the whole MK3 cast. Personally I don't think we need anymore characters. IMO

I went back and edited my previous comment, because i didnt mean to reference you in the statement "Had Chrome played MK4 he would probably feel the same way about these two characters as the majority of the other individuals crying for them to be DLC." I actually meant to say OnagaDragonKing because he had said he never played the game before .
However if someone can help me understand how in his bio Reiko serves Shinnok, and then in his ending you see him in Shao Kahns throne, wearing Shao Kahns helmet, OBVIOUSLY taking Shao Kahns place and power for HIMSELF, in what way does that not make him power-hungry. I mean what else is there to assume. I personally dont believe that his power-hungry antics have to be explicitly stated for the characteristic to be seen .
Anyways thats just my opinion, and i love the game(MK4). Yeah the graphics werent all that, and I didnt like the way most of the new characters were handled(but I did like them, because there was obvious potential) but for back then I was all for it.

This. They will always be nothing more than two lame characters from one of the lamer MK games. Reiko didn't suck so much in MKA, but Tanya is one of the most uninspired characters in the Character. She's the yellow female. That's the only original thing she's got going for her.
Because people like them, and they're some people's favorite characters, if your favorite was excluded, you'd be demaning or at the very least wishing and wanting them for DLC too.
P.S. I'm fine with the amount of characters we have now and hope these two characters return in the next game instead of this game, but i'd take them and I love Tanya, Reiko is pretty cool too.

All of the popular characters are in the game already...Tanya happens to have the most votes on the request thread, this stuff about a small group of fans being too loud and obnoxious is bullcaca.
I think Tanya is cool,
Easily fits into the story, seting up story for next game with Quan Chi. Has
a nice moveset like the cannondrill and her MK4 neck snap that could return in her X-ray and Fatality.
