H.D. version of Shaolin Monks incoming?

Eh? Does NRS even comprise of the employees at Midway Los Angeles?... because they are the ones who developed MKSM and more than likely the same who were doing Fire and Ice.
Does the current NRS team even possess the knowledge behind both games to pull that off? I don't think they do. ESPECIALLY now that the new consoles are coming out and Fire and Ice was designed on old and shitty technology. They'd have to (almost) start from scratch.

If they do release an HD version of Shaolin Monks, I wouldn't be surprised if we saw the Fire and Ice game after all. If an HD Shaolin Monks game did really well, and since they already had Fire and Ice in production evidently, then there's no reason they shouldn't make it. Especially since they have made no announcement of any projects since Injustice's release, unless I missed something.

When I said that it was in production, I meant as far as the story goes and gameplay for it and what not. Obviously it would come out for next-gen consoles, and they would have to make adjustments to the original idea, but nonetheless, I feel the basic idea is there and they should be able to go through with it if they wanted to.
I'd just like to know what NRS is gonna do next at this point. It's been a while since Injustice dropped and I'd hope that they were at least working on something new.

I was wondering what the name of their studio was. It was Paradox before that and they also developed Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style.
I like those guys and it really would be cool if they're still around to make a sequel or remake, as I don't want newbies mucking it up.

If they would release Shaolin Monks between now and June before MKX will be released, It would give them some seriously reputation (even more than now)
An HD version of this would be fantastic, Shaolin Monks was like a high speed ride through the MK universe! Sign me up plz lol

I'd get it if they made it. When it first came out, I rented it from the video store. My little brother kept getting dreams about people's heads exploding every time he played it so my mom took it back to the store shortly after. I didn't get a chance to beat the original.
