I do hope its a MK4-MKA character. By the time the game releases it'll be nearly 9 years since we last saw most of them. (Quan being the only returnee).

Yes, I know. However, if they are going to at least reveal 3 characters for example, that is why I added those four. One from MK4-MKD, one from MK9 and a new character.

They better not just give us one character at EVO because there won't be really much to talk about.

MK4- onwards I'd like to see most:

*Bo' Rai Cho
*Kira
*Onaga

MK9 returning characters I'd like to see back the most: Stryker and Kabal

I think it's going to be Fujin or Tanya. Definately a MK4-MKD character, I think. Possible third option is Kenshi. So;

Again i'm asking because I just can't find it online. Does anyone know when MK9 had it's reveal after E3? And if so, how many characters did they announce? A timeline of when, and where MK9's character reveals happened and in what numbers could tell us how many to expect on the 11th or 12th.

Id be very shocked if it wasn't Tanya or FUJIN. I gurantee it will be someone from mk4

MK9 had 8 playable characters at E3 (plus Shao Kahn and Raiden in the trailer). It's hard to compare timelines, as they went a little old school with character announcements then. Smoke I think leaked late, like Feb/March 2011, not sure if he was ever fully announced. They had some appear in less popular magazines.

I hope they don't go that route as they were all over the place. I'd rather they gave out proper gameplay trailers each time they unveiled a new fighter.

Being that it's revealed at EVO, I'm expecting a popular (MK9) tourney character...And maybe we'll see a post MK3 character if they're revealing more than one.

Tanya and Fujin made their debuts in MK4, so there for, it could be either of the two.

Tanya did return in MKD, but, that doesn't mean anything. However, Fujin could be revealed before Tanya because he was only in MK4/Gold. Yes, I am excluding MKA because everyone returned.

Again, but, let's use Quan Chi. His debut was in MK4 and went on to be in MKDA and MK9. Who says he won't be the or a reveal at evo? Shinnok would be more likely to be the or a reveal because he is like Fujin.

Don't forget about Kai and Jarek, they too are like Fujin and Shinnok. Don't count them out.

Since Tanya, Fujin, Quan Chi, Shinnok and Kai are the most wanted from MK4 to be a next reveal, we could get Jarek instead for all we know. Just saying.

Boon likes to troll so for all what we know, his "dead pool" of characters that he said won't return, could be the ones returning?!

Definitely Fujin.

I always imagined a fatality where he would take a sword, slice up the body with severed limbs, sliced up torso, ect. and create a mini tornado at them making all the bits whirl around in it

Fujin could also be left out due to problems with his wind-powers graphics.

Wind powers are a total HELL for designers.

MKX already has two fatalities with the use of a sword (Scorpion and Kotal). We do not need any more. Hacking an opponents limbs off is gruesome, but, been done many times.

The E3 build of MK9 had 8 playable characters; Scorpion, Subby, Cage, Sektor, Mileena, Nightwolf, Reptile, Kung Lao.

It was at GamesCon in August that their revealed two more characters, Kitana and Cyrax. The reveals after those were kinda random, In trailers, in magazines ect...

For MKvsDC, the characters were revealed in pairs most of the time, at game events or comic cons.
