Thus far, nothing official. Ed Boon has hinted at new costumes for the newer breed of characters(Erron Black, Kung Jin, etc.) and to expect something soon. This hint lines up with a post by frabn I believe, who stated from a source to expect some sort of announcement around Thanksgiving. There are others stating Sektor is a possibility, along with many insisting KP2 will be nothing more than the story pack(which could be a number of different characters) that was rumored long ago.

All that, along with everyone assuming the new stage will be "The Pit", and that's really all thats currently known. Hope this helps, and honestly, the new year will be here before you know it.

Thanks for the info so still nothing concrete it's incredible they have managed to keep it under wraps for so long. Geez I really hope it's not just the so called 'story pack' with Baraka, sindel, rain and maybe fujin or bo that would really suck I think if that was the case I would just be saving my money for the next game! It's a great game but at this point I need an old favourite either noob or smoke to reignite my interest in the game costumes and stages do little for me.

I've heard nothing else from my buddy. According to him "not much has changed" since we last talked about it a month ago (causing someone to run with my info and make a youtube vid about it). I'm feeling pretty positive that we'll get a hint of some kind next week.

Fallout 4 and Battlefront alone are enough for me to stop caring. But then there's the Bloodborne expansion, Resident Evil 0 HD, SFV, and most likely MGSV for Christmas.

Even if Fujin is in the pack, I'll probably play him for a few days and stop because there's no point in taking him online. If there was Tag I could finally have my dream team of Kung Lao and Fujin, which would keep me playing for a while. But nope.

2 weeks ago Ed Boon replied to a tweet when asked when the KP2 will be revealed, he said "soon"..... by his definition of soon, it could be a month to a year. They're really dragging this way too long, they're going to lose most of the players who bought the game from the beginning. This silent treatment is ridiculous.

It's literally been 2 1/2 months (11 weeks) since the "official announcement".

There's no way they don't have something prepared to show by now. And you know for a fact that they've chosen the lucky four at this point.

If we don't get some sort of info by Thanksgiving, then this hush hush nonsense will have reached ludicrous levels. I wouldn't care if we got a walk up animation trailer and half the characters were low quality, pixelated renders. At least we'd know what to look forward to. Just seems strange to me. Almost wanna believe they're going to release more than one character at a time. That, or they'll couple the reveal of IGAU2 and KP2 together.

I have a feeling the trailer is either going to be on Christmas or on the 1st of January ( New Years ). Either way I hope the Kombat Pack 2 comes out sooner than later.

Well, the ESL grand finals are January 24th. Gotta look at that date as a realistic possibility as well.

I never thought we might have to wait until the new year to find out who's in the pack. If that ends up being true that will have been 5 months of nothing.

It is a bit much, but you gotta remember, the only concrete date we have is "2016". Everyone is just assuming January is when everything will kick off. I'm pretty much just throwing things out there like everyone else. Right now, to me, ESL finals makes a whole lot of sense(however soul crushing the wait may be).

All this delay makes me think we are in for a bit of disappointment and by disappointment I mean story pack dlc; Baraka, sindel, rain and possibly a guest. I know some people may like this but honestly this would be the worst possible scenario in my opinion god I hope it's not true but the longer we wait the more I think it is goi to be that!

Let's face it, Injustice 2 IS going to be announced in May come hell or high water because NRS runs a tight and predictable ship over there and there's no way they'll overlap their franchises like that. They will want all eyes and focus on their announcement, not MKX.

They're going to have to reveal in soon otherwise any momentum will be lost. In a couple of weeks Capcom will be revealing the last new character for Street Fighter 5 and will in full blast promoting mode for its Feb release date and then they will start promoting their first DLC character [5 characters will be coming out every 2 months] Plus Tekken 7 is also rumoured to be available on home consoles as well in 2016.

NRS is going to have its work cut out for them if they want to keep MKX relevant in the new year.

Don't wanna seem silly or naive, but the rumor posted Here few weeks ago spoke of Thanksgiving'week end, or the saturday/sunday right after.

Now it's a bit of a stretch but I expect a nonday/tuesday reveal. Don't know why, though.
