I hope there is, it'd be nice to see a point of confluence between a transition in the seires, but it depends upon what of MK:D becomes Canon.
For example, if Shao Kahn's ressurection becomes canon, I think another tournament is a definite possibility. Or, if (my personal favourite) there is a power-vacuum on the outworld, there might be a tournament to decide it.
