I think MK8 will hopefully be good.I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I am seeing as how Deadly Alliance brought back a lot of interest to MK after a lack luster MK4, I think MK8 will do the same. I'm not trying to say MKA is lack luster, but it can be considered one and it surely didn't necessarily meet ground expectations.

Chances are, MK8 will be broken as fuck with Midway producing it. That means more free grabs, infinites, OTG's, etc. Now I bet everyone is thinking "What the hell is this guy talking about?", lol.

I just hope online gameplay is much better. Also it wouldn't hurt if it gets a better server than shitty ass GameSpy.

I'm more excited about the second Shaolin Monks but yea of course I'm excited about MK8, maybe not for the gameplay but the story, the mystery and the intrigue.

i've played mortal since mk1,and i'm giving Boon one final chance to live up to the expectations i have for the game.I always thought they should go back to a darker more realistic look for the game.So graphically i think i will be pleased,but i have lost patience for the gameplay,and will give it one more chance with mk8.here's hoping.

From what I've heard of the new MK game (darker, grittier look and feel and using UE3) I'm really excited about the game. I'm probably as excited as I was about MK:DA when that was in development. Hopefully they can completely reboot the franchise and bring it back to it's classic roots.

I really didn't like the last two installments of MK. The characters looked like plastic, they introduced pretty uninteresting new characters, and it was generally not much fun to play.

Go back to basics I say. Give all the characters a more classic look, no more ninja armour for the ninja characters, bring Reptile back to his ninja look, and last but not least: MAKE MK A TOURNAMENT AGAIN!!!! I loved how MK and MK2 stories were based around a tournament. I want that to come back.

I'll always get excited when a new mk fighting game comes out, unless its one like MKT or MKA as they don't have much new material.

I would like another mk game. I was disappointed with mka with being the suppostly last mk game.

At this point in time, I'm not excited. The gameplay lately has left a lot to be desired, if they could reach UMK3 level again, I'd be satisfied, personally I'd like to see them suprise everyone.
