What if shujino survived?confused It is possible. lets just say that before he defeated Onaga he did absorb Raydens powers. And once rayden zapped him he just absorbed the electricity. And once that happened Rayden would be likewow. And in Mk7 they fight cause rayden is pissed that shujinko is the one who set onaga free. I'm sensing a FRICKIN' SHWEET fight intro in the begining.

Shujinko isn't even dead yet. Raiden hasn't attacked him yet and may not do so at all. We won't know that or anything else until MK7 arrives.

ahhh you are right, sorry. but the question was missing the what if part. you see, the world is full of what ifs, like what if i fart while standing in front of someone i don't know? can reality move the what ifs to un-reality where pigs fly and terds talk? i think it can. but wouldn't it be a rather neat concept?

I would like Shujinko to return in another game. However, once Onaga is defeated, woulden't Shujinko loose his gift given to him? I believe that Shujinko would not have any special power after Onaga's defeat.

yes that is true, but what if it didn't happen, there are those what ifs again, what if shujinko survived, was really pissed off, and tryed to destroy the earth, cause shujikon would have absorbed those semi-evil rayden rays, and possibly become evil himself?

If Shujinko did succeed in killing Onaga, then wouldn't he have fulfilled his purpose?

I would also like for Raiden to come through and kill him. Nothing against Shujinko, but I would like for Raiden to follow through with his new attitude.

Right now, I think Shujinko will defeat Onaga, and then the now crazy Raiden will blow him up. I know they've made 'Jinko out to be the main hero, "the next Liu Kang" was something Boon said, but fans response to him has been mostly negative. Shujinko will have served his purpose by beating Onaga first, so this will not mess up the storyline flow in any way.

IF Shujinko ever does make it back, he should absoloutely never be the main hero again, and also come with his own moves. His entry into MK was very forced, as if they're trying to shove him down our throats and make us accept him as MK's new hero. Plus the main character should have their own moves and powers. Reusing other moves (not counting the Shang Man and his morphing) should only be for an unimportant secret character, not your main man.

He turned up out of nowhere with no build up, so we got an intro where five longtime heroes and fan favourites were killed, and Raiden lost, oh look, only some old fart no one's heard of before can save us now! MK is then rewritten to make the world revolve around him, and his stupid, pointless Krapquest side game, which doesn't even present him as a likeable person. All of MK's heroes, even Liu Kang did not start off as the main, number one, strongest guy, why should this nobody? Bottom line, I'd rather Shujinko were killed off and that be the end of it, but I'd be willing to give him another shot in a much smaller role.

you are right, shujinko was being shoved in our faces. but with all that negativity going around bout him, could midway see that and make him a negative character? It might be the next awesome mortal kombat series story. Shujinko go Bad! (that sux)
