Since we have Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade's child in the game,maybe we will have Kano's son or something? To give her a new rival as cliche as it may be? I mean,out of all characters Kano is the only guy I can see aging so him having an offspring is a possibility.

Absolutely not. I do not want to freaking see Cassie in a story with Kano's son. Not only is it cliché, but it's boring as hell. It adds absolutely nothing original.

Out of what isn't confirmed Reptile(human!), Raiden, Kang, Kung Lao, shang tsung are all must includes (not that they will be in it for sure)

Was anyone bothered by Ed Boon's remarks regarding Motaro? That he can't be in, because he wants bosses that could be playable? Why couldn't Motaro work as a playable character? The gameplay is clearly 2D, technical issues shouldn't be a problem. And if Motaro can only work as an unplayable boss, why the hell wasn't he in the last game then?

I'm just so tired of Motaro getting constantly left out for ridiculous reasons and laziness. MKA was the one game he should have been excluded from, but now he's ironically excluded from games where NRS shouldn't struggle programming his gameplay all that much.

According to Mythologies, Kuai Liang would be at least the SIXTH Lin Kuei member in history to use the name Sub-Zero.
There's also future offspring to consider. 'Course, Bi-Han or Kuai would have to come back from being dead to have one, or they could just give Frost a son and call it a day.
HOWEVER...I think we're overlooking the obvious possibility of multiple Sub-Zeros in the same game. MK9 did it by having Bi-Han and Kuai be alternate costumes for the same character. It's not like they couldn't do the same thing again.
I mean, for MKX Sub to be someone's son AND a Lin Kuei member, they'd have to explain who stopped the Lin Kuei from being a clan of robots ruled by Sektor. SOMEBODY came back. Somebody who has a style called "Grandmaster".

If they're gonna work on MK4-MKD characters it should be...

Well, the roster is going to be about half new and then returning. More new than ever before, which was 10. So i'm expecting 12 (not 348574890578023 wtf..) With a finished roster before DLC, including secret ones, to be 28 final.

MKII had 10 new characters, discounting Kuai (Jax, Kung Lao, Baraka, Mileena, Kitana, Shao Kahn, Kintaro, Smoke, Jade, Noob Saibot.)

Deadly Alliance actually had 11 newcomers, though. (Kenshi, Li Mei, Bo' Rai Cho, Drahmin, Hsu Hao, Nitara, Mavado, Frost, Moloch, Mokap, Blaze.)

Did he finally come out and say that the team really just doesn't know how to program a playable 3D centaur? That is, after all, why he was "neutered" in MKA and was killed off in a cinematic in MK9.

In regards to this mysterious MK4 character who will be returning, TRMK clarified that it's not someone who even made an appearance in MK9.

Following that logic, the only people from 4 and Gold who weren't included in MK9 were Tanya, Reiko, Fujin, Shinnok, Kai, and Meat, with the first three having cameos in one way or another, and Shinnok appearing at the end of story mode. As Meat is wholly a joke character, Kai is the only one of them to not have appeared in some manner.

Regardless, I'm going to assume that the cameos don't disqualify Tanya, Reiko, and Fujin.

Anywhoozle, I am of the mindset that Fujin would be a very logical inclusion, considering the predicament Raiden got himself in.

Fujin was a logical inclusion for Deadly Alliance & Deception but he was snubbed by both of those games. Hopefully that's not the case here.
