Throughout the history of MK, Rayden has been my favorite character. I loved the thought of a philanthropist deity, fighting alongside the human race. But as time went on, and Rayden's story developed, I felt that, though I love him to pieces, it's time that he move on. He was Elder God for a while, but here he comes again, "releasing his godly essence", and such nonsense. But he deserves to take a break from the MK series for a while, and keep his position as Elder God. He should be in a position where he can guide the people of Earth in a broader way, as well as having a hand in the happenings in other realms without the restrictions that he once met.

And I really feel that it is time that Fujin be given a chance to do his job as protector of earthrealm. While I thought MKM:SZ, wasn't necessarily the greatest game in the world, it introduced some wonderful elements to the story of MK. It introduced the Earth gods, and Shinnok, and Quan Chi. It introduced Sareena, Kia, Jataaka.

I specifically took a liking to the Earth gods. It interested me that Rayden wasn't necessarily working alone on the Earth, and it made since for other elemental deities to exist. But the Earth god's weren't emphasized much, and all got brushed away as defeated (I'm still trying to figure out how an immortal can die), with the exception of Fujin, whom made it on to MK4, where many characters lost their spunk in the conversion to 3D.

But, like many of those characters, Fujin was one that was a great idea, but never really got his time to shine. I feel similarly about Shinnok, Kia, and Jataaka. I feel this way about the other elemental deities, but as they never so much as got official names. But mostly I root for Fujin since he made it, at the very least to MK4. He was given cheap, ripoff moves, people ignored him or hated him, and that was it, end of story.

I feel that Fujin has tremendous potential, in moves, design, and story. I would truly love to see him return, and I would love to hear opinions of anyone else who would like to see him resurface in the world of MK.

Gameplay: he needs real world martial arts that reflect his element.

He is a Wind element. I have heard there is a martial art called Wind Fist Kung fu. I have also heard it is one of the Dragon Kung fu styles.

If the next mortal kombat is on the earthrealm I don't see how he COULDN'T be in it. Unless the team decides that because he is the protector he can't do anything to help protect the earth realm or something equally ambiguous like that.

My guess is that if he is in the next game (witch I hope he will be), he would have to protect the earth from dark raiden... Who has gone completly insane and paranoid... :P

I seriously love Fujin. If they develope his story right and give him some memorable moves he could be bigger than Raiden.

If He's not in MK7b than I'll be very diappointed.

With Dark Raiden murdering mortals, Fujin probably will rise to Protector of Earthrealm. Perhaps a major battle between the two demi-gods? smile

It would be great if Fujin came back with his own list of Styles that are now it the game. I hope if he is in it that he doesn't get any recylcled moves. After Raiden gets all nusto on Shujinko, Fujin revives the aged monk. This of course angers Raiden. Fujin tries to appeal to the Raiden he once knew but is then struck down by a thunder bolt. Raiden tries to kill him and at that moment the true threat to all the realms reveals itself. Don't know if there gonna do that but it would be O.K. with me. Anyway Fujin coming back would totally Rock.

I bet they will bring Shujinko back from the dead.furiousI think Fujin is perfect for being Earthrealm's proctector.I thought it would be cool if they mixed Dark Raiden,Goro and Shao Kahn into one really powerful boss!Maybe make them like Noob Smoke where it will be Dark Raiden then switch your fighting style to Shao Kahn then switch to Goro.grin

I think Fujin will be in the next Mortal Kombat game due to Raiden's new twist in the story. However I feel that Fujin will be conflicted in making decisions. He may have the support of Earth's warriors but he must make the same decisions that his brother Raiden has made in regard to obeying the Elder Gods whom really are not involved in the protection of Earthrealm.

Liu Kang I believe is going to be Fujin's his right hand man in terms of coping with Raiden and coverting him back to his former self. I expect to see Fujin as a pivotal character in the Mortal Kombat universe in the near future.

I'm sure that if Fujin became a much larger character in the MK series from here on out, he will become a fan favorite, and he will affect the storyline drastically, for the better. It would be cool to be able to play as both gods in the same game, that would be great.grin
