I have extracted this from the decrypted coalesced ini.

Brazil and Kold War Skins pack?(notice how there's a Kollective Scorp there,so it's not Kold war scorpion)
There are some characters like Sonya(about 5 skins total) who have more skins than what were officially announced. It's obvious there's gonna be future DLC.
Reptile and Ermac have 4 skins listed in the coalesced,officially only 3 were announced.
Scorpion has 9 skins,as opposed to the 7 officially announced ones.
Sub-Zero has 5.
There's at least 2 skin packs that haven't been announced,given the high possibility of future DLC,It wouldn't be surprising if these characters will get extra skins along with(Presumably) extra returning characters. The presence of these packs hints that at least 2 more can make it.

for the record,sometimes there can be entries for skins that end up getting cut from the game: MK9 had several references to cyberzero_b(Cyber Sub apparently was going to get an alt.) and mileena_c(mk2 mileena,which ended up in the Vita version,but apparently was planned to be in the original console versions)
Liu Kang has an extra skin. (Kang in total has 6,as opposed to the 5 officially announced ones)
Kung Lao also has another skin that doesn't seem to match any of the officially announced ones.
There are characters that seem like they won't receive any more skins: Kitana and Raiden have no extra skins(In total,Kitana has 6,and Raiden has 4,the ini reflects that)Kenshi and Shinnok as well. (only 3 skins each)
Kano has an extra skin,for a total of 4.
So far,Sub-Zero,Kang,Lao,Kano,Scorpion,Reptile,and Ermac have 1 extra skin,that haven't been announced so far.
Sonya has 2 extra skins instead: the coalesced references 5 skins: _A,_B,_C,_K,_T

I'm not sure what this means.... Does this mean that there's no hope for some skins for the new characters? Because, That would be a really shame. You'd think the Scooby Gang would at least get one DLC skin each.

there's absolutely no references to any extra skins for these characters. Not even for Goro.
the only ones I've seen are Sub,Scorp,Lao,Kang,Reptile,Ermac and Sonya.
Sonya having a kold war skin in a kold war pack makes sense,given her S.F. background.
still,remember what I mentioned about MK9,skins can get cut at any given time. They could end up adding skins for Tanya and Tremor in the next pack,whenever that is.

yeah,that's who I was referring to(plus Goro,who's in a even worse situation,lacking any alts,just thought I'd mention that as well) and,for the record,none of the other new characters have any extra skins referenced for them either. TBH,i'm not surprised. I was kinda expecting them to get this type of treatment.

I think we should try to figure out the identities of the returning characters,most likely they will be released alongside the skin packs,like Tanya and Tremor.
Brazil Skin Pack: Jade comes to mind,given that she's very popular there,but Boon has been rather adamant about her not returning in MKX,so let's scratch that off,who else then? Cyrax? IDK
Kold War: Wouldn't be surprised if Sub also gets a Kold war skin here(like Blue Steel,which is a counterpart to Gold Scorp) but as for the character: Maybe Shang Tsung? he's a manipulator(not as good as Quan Chi,though),and as shown in some of the MKX endings,he operates behind the backs of everyone,after all,he's an evil sorcerer.

regardless,there has been no official announcement regarding the Kold War and Brazil skin packs.

I think Klassic skins and ninja skins are undoubtedly coming free, hopefully all of the new characters get more skins though. I would love to see Erron Black in a trench coat outfit or Renassiance and maybe D'Vorah in a Gears of War Queen Myrah outfit (someone else in the forums said it before me) and more for Kotal. Kotal's current skins is pretty.... Eh.
I hated Erron's at first but I've grown to love it.

Great news about Sonya getting two more outfits, Kitana and Mileena can't be hogging all the alternates.

Her Klassic I've narrowed it down to her MK3 outfit, but Kold War has gotten me intigued.

Thanks for the info, I'm sure more secrets will be revealed once they hack the pc version wide open and data mine every nook and cranny.

her klassic is MK2,like Kitana.
no,the only characters were NPCs. Tanya crashes the game,according to a friend of mine who owns the game. NPCs are playable via cheat engine.

sindel only states Sindel_A,she's strictly an npc(all npcs,at least in game ones,have no npc prefix,and always have _A,yes even Corrupted Shinnok.Probably put if they want to make an npc a dlc character or give them an alt skin,but otherwise just having _A at the end of the name doesn't mean anything,given ShinnokBoss_A is Corrupted Shinnok and it's highly unlikely he'll be DLC.
