The color thing was only because of the graphic limitations in the 2D games. I'm positive the new characters won't be so color oriented.

if they use color themes again(and they better not), they could be any of these possible colors......silver, gold,and white.

They will probably have more distinct identification now that costumes are more detailed, but they haven't really exploited white, orange or brown. Ermac was red, granted, but if orange has his own powers, he would be pretty cool. Tremor was brown, but I don't think too many people will make a stink.

I don't necessarily believe that all ninjas need to be wiped out, but they definitely need to have their population reduced. The biggest problem I saw with them is lack of personality during gameplay. It's red ninja vs blue ninja. Cut down their numbers and give them different looks and feels so they'll be more like actual characters instead of just no-face fighters with different colors.

Honestly, I don't think we really need any more ninja-type characters. I say that ones like Chameleon should definitely go and not come back.

And besides, Sub-Zero is the only one that actually acts like a Ninja.

Exactly. The only reason we had all those ninjas was because Boon and Tobias were too lazy to come up with anything original, or too cheap to spring for a few more costumes. Frankly, I think there should be a sort of quota system in each new MK Game; once you have three ninjas, that's it, no more are needed.

Doesn't Reiko from MK4 look like a ninja but without a mask? I'm betting they're gonna look something like that. Masked or not, there will surely be ninjas in MK8. They go hand-in-hand with MK, at least to some degree.

I think the complaint about MK3 was more in regards to Scorpion, who is a fan favorite to many.

I really don't think we need any new ninja-type characters even though you may be right about new ninja-type characters being introduced in MK8 and other future MKs.

Imo, they should at least bring back Sub-Zero, Ermac, and Rain for the male ninja-type characters. For the female ninja characters, I think all of them have potential for the future, but I'm leaning more towards Jade and Mileena than Kitana. For the cyborgs, possibly Sektor or Smoke, or maybe none of them.

If they go with a new female ninja character, I suppose they could make use of the whole Skarlett thing and turn it into an interesting concept. That's what XiahouDun84 did in one of his earlier stories.

Adding more ninjas is as bad as removing all the ninjas I think. I mean who would want more characters that all look the same?

Sub-Zero, while I don't consider him a Ninja, acts like a Ninja. How? It has to do with him having a compassionate heart. WIthout cultivating a compassionate heart, one cannot be considered a Shinobi Mono.

Scorpion, on the other hand, has become an imbecile. The way he does things is pretty much the opposite of the mentality needed to properly employ Ninjutsu tactics. He doesn't even use any of the arts used by the Ninja, which equally makes no sense. You would think that he would at least use something like Koto Ryu, a Koppojutsu style that is very closely related to the various martial traditions created and used by the Shinobi Mono.

But nooooo...he uses two traditional Chinese martial arts (Pi Gua Zhang and Moi Fah Kuen) and a modern Korean martial art (Hapkido). His Mugai Ryu style can't even be considered Mugai Ryu as the stance and moves are way off. Why couldn't he at least have Kasumi no Kamae as his fighting stance like he uses in MKA's intro?

Oh ok now I get it. Sorry... guess I had to do a little research for that one. But now I understand where you're getting at.
