hey..in DA begining CG movie...quan chi was running from something..could it be scorpion???....hes been chasing him for a while...i think they need to go face to face so scorpion can fry his ass...

seriosly scorpion needs a story booster...although the elder gods champion thing was allright...

and he needs a toast fatality or regular move...seriosly..

and i think his uniform needs to be backgraded to the mk1 type ninja...or how he ooks in shaolin monks...

and was it me or did the chars have more detail in DA...was it because they couldnt handle it online??...seriosly..looks at scorpions face between the 2 games...he looks wierd in deception...his alt is cool tho...

In the beginning of MK DA, yes Quan Chi was running from Scorpion.

Yeah, I don't think that Scorpion will catch Quan Chi. He'll torture him, because he came back for vengeance, remember?

He probably thinks death would be too good for him anyway.

"Is it so important that you win one last argument with him?" "No, it is not, but it is true that I will miss the arguments; they were, finally, all that we had."

Actually, I highly doubt it. At this point in the series, Quan Chi is considered dead, and it's made rather clear that Scorpion wants to KILL, not TORTURE, the sorcerer to get his revenge. You can't really kill someone that's already dead (eve in the Netherealm, they can't really 'die' again), and with Scorpion becoming the Elder Gods' chosen warrior, it looks like he's heading towards a new destiny of redemption. Kinda hard to hunt down a dead Netherealm spirit if you can't get back in there due to being saved, don'cha think?

So no, I don't think Scorpion will ever get his revenge. Besides, Quan Chi is supposedly dead, anyway, so there'd be no point to it. And, even if it turns out he's alive, with the way Scorpion's story's heading, right now, I think it's safe to say that he'll never get his justifiable revenge on Quan Chi.

Scorpion's new path of being the Champion of the Elder Gods, I feel, was a side-step to avoid resolving Chi and Tsung's fate so quickly. Obviously Scorpion would continue his path of vengeance if it wasn't because of this, because if his Bio stated: "I must now hunt and kill Quan Chi.", we would know that he was alive, of course.

I also doubt his revenge will be resolved, unfortunately... Unless Chi becomes an enemy or concerning threat to the Elder Gods. Scorpion wouldn't be their Champion without control and structure, so his personal vendetta would have to wait until they no longer require him... If they decide that. Either this, or Scorpion stops it himself.

Perhaps the Elder Gods set him free. Being their Champion would have enforced him with a goal and mind-set, something that could help him since he has generally been wandering and hunting. Scorpion never showed stability until his Ending, which demonstrated him carrying out his mission and killing Onaga, without second-thought or pause. Perhaps this whole Champion of the Elder Gods chapter is the beginning of something new, for a change.

I also agree, Scorpion is headed down the path of redemption as he serves the Elder Gods for their cause. Even though Scorpion is serving the Elder Gods, I believe he would still be a common enemy to Earth's warriors due to Raiden's actions as Earth's protector. Raiden had defied the Elder Gods countless times throughout the history of the games for the protection of Earth. I believe the Elder Gods will act upon that and send their Champion to deal with Raiden who is threatening the very balance of the realms by his actions. I could see Scorpion play a major role between the whole "One Being" story and I could picture him to be one of those characters that can see the whole picture and is aware of the threats that the Elder Gods are facing.

As for Quan Chi, I believe his time as a powerful sorceror have come to an end. Even if he did survive the blast that Raiden had created, he had lost his medallion which was a major source of his power. Scorpion was blessed with divine powers from the heavens, so I believe that if Scorpion had encountered Quan Chi again, while not serving the Elder Gods he would easily dispose of his nemesis.

Hey, I just got a nice idea. What if they were looking at Scorpion........as a potential replacement? Maybe they want someone who WILL obey the rules.
