You know, I think this time people just don't care as much. Bitching and complaining didn't stop Freddy from being in the game and I think people realize that. Plus as soon as Freddy was announced last time around people immediately started clamoring for Jason, so it was just a matter of time really.

There are so many better franchises and characters (including MK characters) to use I personally think it's a missed opportunity. These "horror icons" have never impressed me though. Even as a kid I thought they were corny and hokey.

I was against Freddy and am not excited about Jason whatsoever, but I learned long ago that DLC is optional and to always wait for the Game of the Year / Komplete edition.

He was a FAST mother fucker who ran in films 2-4 + the most recent reboot.

It will be interesting to watch jason sweep the leg, perform a front flip, and perform combos. His only other move previously was walk really slowly towards you until you fell over.

This makes me glad I don't buy DLC. I will get the game for my PS3 and then later on get the Komplete Edition for PS4 once I've upgraded to next-gen. Upgraded graphics+all of the extra characters, skins etc. = worthwhile purchase. Fuck paying 30 dollars for 4 characters.

If you ask me, Kitana's costume should have been influenced by a badass pseudo-samurai from medieval Japanese history named Tomoe Gozen. Her section is inside this book. Just go to her text section and there's a drawing of her in the previous page. It's on page 138.

30 dollars for 4 characters AND 15 skins. That's not a bad deal IMO.

Which is why I don't understand that complaint by some for the reboot. He is seen running in Part 2 through the woods across the road and to his cabin, and again towards the end of the movie. His reactions are quite quick in Part 3 and IV as well.

Not even his "zombie" form from Part VI on, is he always "slow". In part VI he is seen moving through the woods at a quick pace.

I think his variations should give us a faster version, and a slower one.
