As far as I'm concerned, I've always presumed Fujin's going to be playable unless the developers deconfirm him explicitly.

Challenge tower scenarios aren't really indicative of the story, in any case.

I hope it's bullshit.

Still, I do not like the whole "usurper" concept. I want Fujin to have a chance in leading earthrealm, but fuck this whole "Raiden has to die hyuk hyuk" bullshit. Substitute would be more productive & everybody wins. None of the two has to die.
