They never interacted... at ALL.
After he was killed, he descended into the fifth plane of the Netherrealm and the whole Brotherhood of Shadow came into play with him which made him pled allegiance with Shinnok. This all taking place during the second game.
During the third game, Shinnok ordered Noob to work with Kahn during his invasion.
The fourth had him work directly with Shinnok until he was ultimately defeated, thus having him go back to Kahn.
Then you have the Tournament Edition where he fought against Goro.
Deception came with him free to pursuit what he wanted, found Smoke and became Noob Smoke.
And with Armageddon, you have him leading an invasion in the Lin Kuei to retake it, and tried to find his brother so that he can kill him.
They literally have no interactions after Bi Han becomes Noob. Of course I vaguely described the original timeline for his character however there's nothing I saw that said anything about these two ever meeting.

That's what I thought! WHY have they never given us a Scorpion vs Noob feud? That would be so badass. Assuming Bi Han loves being Noob and feels it's a blessing in disguise? I mean as Noob he is indeed more powerful than he was as Sub.

If noob truly comes back I wonder what would his intro be when he is against scorpion or vice versa .

Noob: Thanks for killing me, Scorpion. You made me so much better.
Scorpion: BI-HAN?!
Noob: Yes. Quan Chi wanted me on his side, so he used you to kill me. He then brought me back as a wraith. It's the best thing that ever happened to me.
Scorpion: No, he wouldn't do that! You're lying!
Noob: Ha ha ha ha!
Scorpion: I'll kill you again! And this time you won't return!
As for what Scorpion's storyline will be, maybe his character will go in a huge new direction, and he'll be hunting Cassie down, calling her a murderer, to her confusion. Or maybe it's Ferra he'll hunt down. Scorpion's story can be kept fresher than a Subway sandwhich, by merely adding a new ingredient, i mean prey, for Scorpion to chase.

If and only if Scorpion's arcade ending ends up being canon, he doesn't have to because it's already done.

So yeah, Scorpion's fatality is being discussed in another thread.
Personally, I find it bland. The whole face-cutting thing looks cool, but it's pointless. It would make alot more sense if he had thrown his spear into the heart of his opponent after having blasted the hole, and then pull the heart out, or something like that. The hole through the chest and the face cut just seems like two completely different and unrelated sorts of damage. There's no consistency!
Subbie's fatality has consistency. He freezes a hole in his opponent's chest, shatters it, grabs the exposed spine in the hole, breaks it, lifts the opponent up by his spine and splits him in half. It all revolves around the spine! It makes sense! It would make less sense if he shattered the hole in the chest and then, I dunno, broke an arm off afterwards.
Though it is unlikely, I hope NRS changes Scorpion's fatality. And I hope the other characters' fatalities won't suffer the same inconsistency as Scorpion's.

If he does not fireball a hole into their chest, then the opponant does not go on to their knees awaiting the sword strike. I think the focal point of the Fatality is for Scorpion to slice the victim's face off but they could not find better context. I still think it is by far the best Fatality we have seen so far.

I said the exact same thing about D'Vorah's fatality about her blowing holes in the opponent's chest then just eating their face. But when Scorpion has a genuinely cool fatality, it's inconsistent. Weird.
I honestly don't care that the heart has nothing to do with the fatality. He's never really been about ripping out hearts anyway. The fact that Scorpion would be so brutal after basically killing the guy with the hole in the chest is cool to me. It adds an extra layer of savage violence.

Yeah they don't need to change Scorpion's fatality. The hole in the chest is just to get the opponent on his knees and end it with the slice of the face. I can't think of a cooler way to make the opponent kneel before his execution. And messing with the heart is Kano's department, I feel like they'd ruin the fatality if they tried to do too much with it. Plus Scorpion definitely doesn't need to develop some heart fetishes.
There's nothing wrong with the fatality at all. As stated in the fatality thread, they've been having these kinds of fatalities. There's nothing new here. I like it, there isn't anything I would change at all.
It's one out of how many fatalities each characters have. You don't like it, don't perform it then.

I like Scorpion because well I don't know for the same reason I like Glacius and Blanka. There's not much to them but they're just "cool"
So far with X i really like his design and that they have finally done away with hammering in the fact that his name is Scorpion with his costume design. Goood that Scorpion theme with his outfit in the last two games was soooo stupid.
I'm happy to see they have gone the MK4 and DA route with him and taken him back to his hell spawn ninja roots and also given him more of a brutish build like he had back in Deadly Alliance.
Now...if only they could work on him not being such a dumb ass...

Wasn't Scorpion under Shang Tsung's control in the old timeline?
What else are Scorpion and Sub Zero going to do if they don't hate each other?
I want Scorpion to take over the Netherrealm and become the main antagonist for a while. Would Scorpion make a cool boss? Would it be fitting and in good taste for Scorpion to be a boss? I guess not in this game, but at some point in the future of the series. We get the boss version of Scorpion where he's even bigger and more badass.

Storywise, I hope Scorpion finally learns the truth, finding out what Quan Chi has done. This development should result into two things; Scorpion joining forces with Sub-Zero, eventually leading to Quan Chi's death.
Where appearance is concerned, I think this is Scorpion's best look yet. Its a mixture of his MK2 and MKDA outfits which were, in my opinion, his best outfits up untill MKX. It fits him perfectly. Great job here, NRS.
When looking at his gameplay, I can't come to any concrete conclusions as I have to play his variations for myself and fully explore what he is capable of, but from what I have seen so far, his variations seem great and he looks fun to play as.
In short, I am liking what they have done with Scorpion where appearance and gameplay is concerned. Storywise, however, we see his fighting intro's with Sub-Zero hinting at the same old ignorant Scorpion wanting Subby dead. Please, for fucks sake; move past this point already

Scorpion was never under Shang Tsung or anyone else's control in the original timeline or in the new timeline.
Scorpion will eventually learn the truth of his families murder and go after Quan Chi. Judging form the intro sequence Scorpion still holds SubZero responsible but I think that will change.

My bad, I think that was just in the movie.
A very strong character with a lot of potential who's sadly limited by the single-minded desire to keep the feud with Sub-Zero going.
Scorpion during the MK1-4 was one of my favorite characters. I was a big fan of him dropping his vendetta against Sub in II, joining Kahn in 3-T until he saw Sub was on the opposite side, and I was glad when they tied up things with Quan Chi in MK4. After that, I felt they floundered in deciding what to do with him. Him becoming an enforcer for the Elder Gods in Deception had potential, but it was squandered.
I get that vengeance is his central motivator, but it's been a long time since that was enough to keep me interested. Having him almost spare Bi-Han in 9's Story mode was one of the best moments he's had in years; showed us he could be something more than blind rage all the time. I just want them to go somewhere, anywhere with him to make me like him again. Lay him to rest and pass the mantle like Sub, resurrect him so he's Hanzo Hasashi again...there are possibilities there.

Not really sure how you came to that conclusion since he wears a mask as he always has. To answer your question though, he looks like Scorpion. Not much else to it. So the skull will most certainly be there when his mask is removed.
It's funny. With MK9, and even Injustice, I rarely if ever touched Scorpion outside of single player gameplay because of all the "newbies" defaulting to him.
That said, he's always been in my top three characters (Scorpion, Sub Zero, and Reptile, hearkening back to MK2 when those were the three I always played as lol) and I've always loved his story.
But yes. I want to see him take vengeance on Quan Chi. I would love for them to revisit the champion of the elder gods arc, or find some way to just make him different.
Personally, I would love to see Scorpion find a way to become human again. We've known the hellspawn spectre for 20 years. Let's see the man.

You can't have him gain revenge on Quan Chi until they have a reason for his existence continue afterward.
The very last part of your statement is one of the worst ideas I have heard regarding his character. Probably number one.
You can't just take away what makes him who he is.
His rage, manipulation of hellfire and all other abilities he possesses as a result of him being a hellspawn would all disappear and then what do you have? I can tell what you don't have...Scorpion.

And that's his downfall.
Scorpion is forever doomed to stay the same because fans like him that way, so every new story/part of Mk is spoiled by Scorpions endless revenge.
I would love it if they include Scorpion & Sub-Zero into a special DLC pack, with ALL costumes EVER and whatever more, which gets released with the game, only to have Scorpion and Sub-Zero OUT of the storyline, so not every storyline has to be corrupted and reformed by those two, but fans can still play with them through the DLC package.

An overall terrible idea as well. Face facts, Scorpion and SubZero are the faces of MK. Not a single character touches them and never will. Not ever. Ryu and Ken of MK....Understand?
As far as Scorpion's story is concerned, you act as though he can't gain a different purpose. Have we forgotten the part of his MKD story where he became champion of the Elder Gods? Seeing as how MK9 undid all of the past leading up to Armageddon, there is nothing to suggest this not happening again or even an entirely new story for him to engage in.
I stated that he simply can't kill Quan Chi UNTIL they know for sure what they will have him partake in afterward. There are plenty of possibilities.
